Prom.

You're celebrating school is over. You put on a suit, drink red punch (with alcohol).

You dance to cliche love songs with your best friends. You may even get fucked by a handsome boy from school.

How could you not love prom?

Literally no one payed attention in classes that Friday, the teachers didn't do anything about it. Taehyung just daydreamed between the talking teenagers, busy with dresses, suits, cars, mascaras and shaving creams.

Suddenly school was over and Taehyung was sitting in the train.

He and Jimin promised Ellie, that they would go home pick up their suits and get ready in her room at the hospital, just to include her a little, since she couldn't go to prom.

Bogum was laying on the couch when Taehyung stepped into the living room.
"Hey" he said.

"hello" Taehyung answered as he walked into the kitchen to grab some food.

"soo what are you up to?" Bogum asked from the living room.

Taehyung opened the refrigerator, and grabbed a bottle of water "uhh im just gonna get my suit and then go over to Ellie and get ready for prom"

"oh, you're going with Jungkook?" the older asked, now he was standing in the kitchen.

Taehyung closed the frigde and looked at Bogum for a second "yes, i am".

Bogum nodded slowly.

Taehyung felt the awkward vibe in the air "im kinda late, so i'll see you around" he said and ran up the stairs to his room.

Bogum was normally not that awkward, what happened to him? is everyone this awkward in the US?

He snapped his black suit in his closet, he took a few earrings and rings and put them in a bag.

30 minutes later he stood in Ellie's room at the hospital, Jimin was already there. Ellie was sleeping and none of them wanted to wake her up, so the two boys went out in the bathroom, where Jimin showered first and then Taehyung.

When they were in their suits Ellie had woken up.

"spicy" she said when she saw both of her best friends dressed in their suits, brushed hair, with earrings and rings on.

They talked for an hour, where Ellie was mostly listening as Jimin spilled gossip and Taehyung commenting on it.

Taehyung felt that Ellie seemed tired. Not that she wanted to be, at all. But she was just so tired.

"which color is your dress going to be for prom next year El?" Jimin asked.

"hmm i want it to be yellow, that's my favorite color right now" she answered with a smile on her lips. Taehyung and Jimin smiled too, yellow would be so pretty on her, especially with her brown curly hair.

She'll be the prettiest girl at prom next year.

Through the open balcony door they heard a car honking from the parking lot. Jimin and Taehyung stood up, walked out on the little balcony and looked down, just to see their boyfriends dressed in suits, waving at them.

Elias knocked on the door as he stepped into the room. He wore an all black suit, he walked to Ellie and carefully kissed her on the lips.

Taehyung noticed the little sunflower in the pocket of his black blazer.

"give me your hand" Elias whispered to Ellie, who brought out her weak little hand. Different tubes was attached to her skin but Elias didn't care.

He put a sunflower corsage on her hand and softly kissed it.

"aww" Jimin sobbed beside Taehyung, who also was on the edge of crying.

The car honked again.

GET READY FOR PROM.

The chorus to Meridian by ODESZA was playing so loud when the two couples entered to big gym hall.

The drums echoed in Taehyung's ears , he really loved prom. Cause prom at The International High School of Seoul was always something special. Everybody loved to go to Taehyung's school's prom.

This year the theme was galaxy, so in the ceiling was a bunch of purple, white and blue lights, it almost looked like sky full of galaxies, the rest of the room was dark.

When the lights stroked the dance floor you could see people dancing around and enjoying the long waited night. For some it was the last prom, for some it a night where you forget about your worries, your grades, everything, or at least it was like that for Taehyung.

He looked at Jungkook for a second, he looked amazing in those lights. Jungkook turned to him, smiled, took Taehyung's hand and pulled him out on the dance floor just for the second chorus of the amazing song.

Taehyung always felt like everything was in slow motion, when he was dancing to songs made my ODEZSA. He saw Jimin was dancing with Yoongi beside him, on the other side of him Jihyo was dancing with Lisa, Naeyeon was kissing Jaebum, Jackson was trying to dance with some girls, Elias was jumping up and down with Chanyeol, Jin and Namjoon was there dancing as well. All the people Taehyung loved was smiling and enjoying the night and then he turned to look at Jungkook in front of him.

His eyes were like galaxies when the light reflected in them. He was so beautiful and his smile started to mean so much to Taehyung.

He loved him.

WAIT.

Taehyung stopped jumping and stood still. He looked at Jungkook with wide eyes.

Jungkook still danced but when he noticed Taehyung standing still, he stopped as well and looked confused at Taehyung.

Taehyung was still frozen. Did he really mean that?

did he really love Jungkook?

Then he rushed forward and kissed Jungkook.

He broke the kiss and rested his forehead against the other's and looked him in the eyes.

"I love you"
