Jungkook's eyes lit up as Taehyung's eyes met his.

"i love you" he then said.

Taehyung smiled, brought his hands up to cup the other's face and then he kissed him again.

Still kissing the other different pictures flew through Taehyung's head.

Him smiling to Jungkook in the train.

Him seeing Jungkook in McDonalds with all of their friends around.

Him laying on the football field that night with Jungkook.

Him sitting in the train station with Jungkook.

Him sitting with Jungkook in front of the view that night where he kissed him.

Him waking up on Jungkook's chest.

Him asking Jungkook out.

Him driving with Jungkook.

Him caressing Jungkook's cheek as he was sleeping.

Him kissing Jungkook when he was mad a Bogum.

Him seeing Jungkook on the ground with candles all around him.

Him dancing with Jungkook at prom.

Taehyung really loved Jungkook.

Prom continued, it was amazing. Taehyung got to talk to all the people he truly cared about. Jungkook stayed by his side the whole night and it felt so good.

Jimin was happy too. That boy made it so far.

"later" Elias nodded at Taehyung and Jungkook, he was leaving earlier to be with Ellie the rest of the night. It seemed like he had enjoyed himself even though he was constantly worried about his girlfriend and wanted to be by her side 24/7.

Taehyung and Jungkook waved back. Taehyung took a sip of the blue punch well knowing that Jackson and Chanyeol put vodka in it. Jungkook turned to talk to Bobby who was senior from the football team.

Earlier that night Jungkook told Taehyung that Coach Williams had asked him to consider being the team captain next year cause Namjoon, Jin and Chanyeol and all the other seniors on the team would leave. He seemed kinda nervous about that, the pressure from everyone on top of being a senior.

Taehyung talked to Jihyo and Lisa who had planned the prom with a few other juniors.

Prom this year was truly amazing. It's gonna be even better next year when Ellie would be there too.

While Jungkook was humming to the song in the radio, Taehyung fiddled the silver plastic tiara between his fingers.

Ellie won the prize as prom queen. It's so funny cause that's last thing she wanted to win, that's what she always said. She hated the attention especially for something Annabelle and all the other girls wanted more than anything.

The time was 01:28 - prom ended two hours ago, but Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin, Yoongi, Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Jin, Namjoom, Jackson, Jihyo and Nayeon went to McDonalds to get some midnight food, after that they decided to drive to the hospital to visit Ellie and Elias.

Walking into the hospital this time of the night was nice. Nurses and doctors were not busy, so everyone greeted the group of teens dressed in beautiful prom dresses and pretty suits. Jackson was hype, he quietly jumped around and whisper laughed with Namjoon. Jihyo's and Nayeon walked beside each other laughing at Jackson's actions.

The group reached Ellie's room. Taehyung stepped in first, sensing something was wrong.

Elias and Ryan was standing on each side of Ellie's bed, no one said anything nor looked up when everybody arrived.

Taehyung slowly walked to her bed, biting his lip.

Ellie looked so sick. Her lips were dry, and her skin was orange in a way. She looked even thinner than she used to, something was different about her.

The others came to the bed forming a circle around Ellie, everybody stopped laughing and smiling, cause something was really wrong.

Ellie was slowly blinking, just like you do when you're forcing yourself to stay awake.

Taehyung felt tears forming in his eyes.

Jungkook found his hand and fiddled his fingers into Taehyung's. Jihyo was breathing slow while admiring Ellie, Jimin was hugging Yoongi who slowly caressed his back.

"hi shitheads" Ellie whispered with strange thin voice.

Through the tears Taehyung smiled at the familiar sentence, he glanced up at Jimin who was smiling too.

little smiles formed on everyone's mouths.

after some time Ellie moved her head.

"see you" she whispered with a hoarse voice and slightly smiled.

Even though her eyes were almost closed, Taehyung saw them closing for real.

an endless beep from the heart monitor filled the room.

suddenly the vibe was different, the air was thick, it was like people held their breaths.

Taehyung's eyes were still on Ellie as a tear rolled down his cheek.

The room was completely silent. Tears was rolling down Ryan's cheeks as well, he was holding Ellie's left hand and Elias was holding her right.

Elias's mouth opened slightly, but not a sound came out.

Ellie was dead.

Taehyung squeezed his eyes together to prevent more tears coming. He felt a hand around his nape and suddenly his was crying in Jungkook's shoulder.

Taehyung's mind was empty. He just kept on crying.

The next hours were blurry.

Taehyung got out of Ellie's room leaning onto Jungkook's shoulder.

Into Jungkook's car and then in his own bed.

He was alone for a while not knowing how long until Jungkook pulled him into his arms.

and like that Taehyung fell asleep totally empty
