people probably texted him because they wanted to know how Ellie was. Without noticing he went to Jungkook's messages.

JK: anything new with E?

JK: text me when u wake up

JK: no, call me when u wake up

Taehyung smiled. But he waited to him call back till he had answered all the messages from the other worried friends.

"hey" Jungkook said, he sounded like he had been awake for a long time.

"hey" Taehyung answered. It was great to hear the other's voice again.

Taehyung wanted to spend time with Jungkook, but after Ellie got to the hospital she was his first priority.

"how is are Ellie?" he asked after a few moments of silence.

Taehyung sat up "she is good, or she was when we visited her, she acted normal and not sick at all".

"did they find out what was wrong with her?" Jungkook asked, Taehyung could hear he was walking around, it sounded like he was at the gym.

Wait. Taehyung forgot that only a few people knew that Ellie actually had cancer. It was really a big deal when Taehyung thought about it. Is it just something you tell people?

"tae?" Jungkook asked through the speaker with made Taehyung come back from his thoughts.

"uh they don't knew yet, it was a strange episode, they need to work on it" Taehyung lied.

"wow... it really scared the shit out of me"

"same" Taehyung answered.

"but you're okay?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung nodded but realized the other couldn't see it instead he hummed.

Jungkook cleared his throat "uuhm so i was wondering if you had any plans tonight? unless you're visiting Ellie, cause i think Elias would visit her tonight.."

Jungkook kept talking for no reason which made Taehyung giggle "Jungkook"

Jungkook stopped. "Are you asking me out?" Taehyung asked.

"ah you're turning this into a high school love movie confession, please Taehyung, YES I AM ASKING YOU OUT" Jungkook yelled the last part.

Taehyung burst out in laughter. In the background he heard guys (probably the jocks) hooting and yelling for Jungkook.

"i just yelled that out loud in the whole gym, now you have to say yes you bitch" Jungkook hissed through the speaker of Taehyung's phone.

"Fine" Taehyung laughed.

Taehyung stepped into Ellie's room an hour later. At home he realized he was behind with the homework and all the studying for upcoming tests, so he had brought his backpack with all of the school stuff in it.

"are you seriously gonna study in here" Jimin groaned from the bed, he was laying on his stomach beside Ellie who sat up with crossed legs.

"Yup and im doing it with pride" Taehyung smiled at his friends as he threw his back on a the chair. He noticed all the new things attached to Ellie.

She had one of those pipes that gives you air in both nostrils around her face. She also had tubes attached to her hand with the other end was attached to some bags hanging with transparent liquid in it.

She looked tired like usual, her curly brown hair was in a low braid which was resting on her shoulder, it looked nice like that. Nice and peaceful.

Ellie noticed Taehyung studying all the new things attached to her body.

"I got really sick last night, I couldn't breathe, that's why I got this bloody thing in me nose" Ellie stated while pointing at her nose.

Ellie rarely said 'me' instead of my, but neither Jimin or Taehyung commented on it. Taehyung enjoyed her British accent and slang words, even though the teachers at school asked her to lower the accent.

"and I don't know what this it for" Ellie added referring to the tube thingy that was attached to her hand.

Taehyung tried not to show his fear for Ellie's life by just nodding while listening to her. How could she not freak out by all these signs of death?

"Hoseok just texted me" Jimin gasped from the bed, sitting up with his phone in his hand.

"ooo lemme see" Ellie turned to Jimin and reached for his phone, which Jimin passed to her.

Taehyung sat down on the floor and pulled out his books out from his backpack.

This actually felt like normal times. Jimin and Ellie talking about guys and Taehyung was studying and giving his opinion once in a while.

But instead of studying Taehyung told them about his date with Jungkook and they were really exited, like him.

Time went by, Taehyung didn't finish his studies or homework.

"and I was like where's my hair" Jimin said telling his sex story with Yoongi.

Taehyung and Ellie burst out of laughter. So much that Ellie started to cough. She was still laughing though, Taehyung and Jimin laughed amused at her wild and deep coughs.

It was fun until blood started coming out of Ellie's mouth and nose every time she coughed. Machines started beeping around the bed.

Jimin and Taehyung stopped laughing immediately, made wide eyes and jumped down from the bed.

Taehyung stormed out of the door yelling down the hallway.

not even a second after nurses and doctor pushed him to the side to get into the room to Ellie.

it took a few minutes till Ellie stopped coughing. Taehyung had turned his back to the room. He couldn't watch Ellie like that.

When the nurses and doctors went out of the room Taehyung and Jimin stepped in again.

Ellie was lying in the bed all pale and sweaty. Her eyes was almost closed.

Taehyung looked up at Jimin on the other side of the bed. Suddenly he felt a weak grip around his wrist , he immediately looked down at Ellie, her eyes was closed.

"go see jungkook" she whispered with a hoarse voice.

Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows and shook his head "no Ellie, I'm staying here".

Her grip tightened "please do it for me".

Taehyung looked up at Jimin who was nodding "i'll stay here".
