the world is small

" I can't believe that we actually found him" Ellie said exited while jumping around on the road, lit up by the lampposts, Taehyung nodded and smiled at her excitement

Taehyung and Ellie were currently on their way home. Since they had promised Taehyungs mother to help Mrs. Parker an older lady from their neighborhood with cleaning her basement, both of them had known her since they were toddlers. The others went to the party.

Taehyung went through what happened earlier.

After JK the guy from the train sat down with his tray of fries and hamburgers, he felt Taehyung staring at him so he raised his head and met Taehyungs eyes.

"hey, you're the guy from the train" he said loud, eyes wide in amusement, smiling at Taehyung.

Taehyung was out of words, Jimin choked on his soda, Ellie made wide eyes and looked at JK.

She looked back at Taehyung who was still out of words "I never meet anyone I know in the train" she said trying to save Taehyung, it failed cause everyone was still looking Taehyung, waiting for him to say something.

Elias broke the awkward silence with the biggest burp of all time.

Everyone looked at him including Taehyung and JK. Then all of them bursted out of laughter cause Elias was surprised himself of the sound that came out of his mouth. Everyone went back to their food after that.

Taehyung noticed Elias winking at Ellie, who looked questioning at him. Guess he just saved Taehyung AND her.

The night continued. Taehyung found out that JK was the amazing player in the number 97, he was late cause he had to talk to a few talent scouts after the big game.

Every time the others laughed at something the two of them looked at each other and then laughed.

Taehyung went to the bathroom "you actually found him Taehyung" he laughed to himself in the big mirror.

the door opened and Taehyung held the eye contact with himself in the mirror to avoid an awkward moment with the person who stepped in.

"hello" a familiar voice said, the voice that had been in Taehyungs head for a very long time now.

Taehyung looked away from the mirror and met JKs eyes.

"hey" he smiled at the him.

"man the world is small huh?" JK said with a smirk on face. referring to how small the odds were for them to actually go to the same school and have the same friends.

Taehyung nodded still smiling.

"eh you were really amazing out on the field " Taehyung then said, really regretting the adjective he put in.

JK laughed "oh thank you, i dont know what've happened if I had a bad day" he smiled and cocked his head then turned around. To Taehyung it looked like a habit, cocking his head.

"you were amazing in the crowd too" he mumbled loud enough for Taehyung to hear it.

when the door closed behind JK, Taehyung turned around to the mirror and looked at himself in the mirror. His cheeks was burning.

why did he get affected that?

"Gosh Jimin is really all over Yoongi" Ellie suddenly said which made Taehyung come back from his moments with JK.

"yes, same with Elias over you" Taehyung added.

"I know right. My dream yesterday makes it even worse" She groaned.

Taehyung didn't really find it hard to imagine Ellie making out with Elias though. He didn't say it out loud of course, cause then he would probably end up loosing one of his balls.

They walked by Ellie's apartment building, she hugged Taehyung and said that she was happy that he 'finally' found JK, even though its been under two weeks since he saw him the first time.

Taehyung got home, his parents were out with Jimins parents again, he just went straight to bed, cause he had a lot to think about.
