Do you know what breathless feels like? When you enter a shop which has best of the best youth collection and you have the liberty to choose whatever you want, that is breathless. That shop was a paradise for me, with all the possible colour combinations, it looked like a colors were randomly strewn all across the shop. It was no less than a ride down a rainbow.
“Tell me what's your style.” Myra asked once I was done gawking at the paradise.
“Yeah sure. I'm looking for something with vibrant colors. Go for reds, blues, maroons, yellows. I'd appreciate white but I tend to dirty it up real quick. Then, I'd prefer cotton, other materials are welcomed but the cloth must breathe. I'm not at all ready to wear anything too skinny or too loose. It must be a perfect fit.”
“Well, I wasn't expecting a whole catelogue of your choice but thanks anyways. We have a narrow search now.”She needs to learn to be sweet eh? Sooner than later, someone's going to enroll for polite speaking classes.

“That makes you look fat. Now try this one.” For the nth time, Myra pushed me in the dressing room.
“You know what, I'm done. I just can't bear your nasty comments anymore. Can you be a little less painful with your word whip? Moreover I've changed like a hundred cloths.”
“I understand dear but I can't help if this shop sucks in designs. I won't even wear these one pieces as night dresses.”
Myra could be really blunt when it came to...yeah she's just born blunt with sharp tongue. She doesn't know about the things called feelings. Bam! She insults someone. Bam! She breaks their heart. Bam! She moves on to the next person.Hats off to the sales girl that has been with Myra for the last hour or so. When I initially saw them, I thought Myra is going to make her cry, but that lady standing there in the crisp blue uniform is a lot more than a newborn chicken. She spoke up-
“Ma'am, our shop is known for it's best collection. We have a tradition of trendy designs and what I have presented is the best one.”
Now before the Myra monster could speak, I intervened.
“I guess what we have chosen till now is good. We'll buy them.” I held Myra's hand and pulled her towards the cash counter._-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
We were sitting in the food court having some biryani. The hydrabadi dum biryani that Myra ordered was quite spicy. I was leaking from eyes and nose while my mouth was on fire. There was a pool of used tissues on my side. And then there was Myra who ate the biryani with almost no hesitation.
“Are you a dragon?” I asked rather mischievously.
“Yeah! I am. And I want to burn you down. Why did you interfere, that sales girl was of no use anyways. Honestly, she had the worst taste in fashion and don't even get me started with her turtle speed.”
“Myra, you were practically bullying her. She looked like a tiny rabbit caught in a cage with the Myra lioness.”
“Hey! I wasn't that bad.”
“Were you not? We if you consider 'pulling out a hundred peices of garments and then telling the sales girl that only 3 of them are worth your bucks and then leaving her to fold that enormous amount of clothes’ a good deed, then yes you are sinless.”“Why are you so sympathetic. Go help her fold the garments!”
“Why would I do that?”
“Duh, you were talking about being nice to her.”
“We could maybe, treat her with a lollipop. Ugh I don't know! How can you be so bold and brave? I can't even hurt a fly without buying flowers for its demise.”“All you have to do is think about yourself before you think about others. The world isn't a very nice place to live. 90 percent of people here are followers. If you are one of the remaining 10 percent, you have two options. Either become a leader or stay alone. Nobosy is going to respect you unless you demand it. Be rude to others sometimes, make them face hardships for you. That way they fear you and never even think of going against you.”
“Just remind me to flee this country when you plan to be the dictator.”
“Say what you want to, this is the bitter truth, the harsh reality. Forget that, this is what we call life.”
