Abhaas’ POV

“Cheers to the first day!"
Our glasses clinked as Ahana and I were sitting in this restaurant, having dinner, celebrating her first day of work.

“This feels so good!" She exclaimed.
If I knew she was going to be this happy after her first day working, I would've given her a job at my firm long ago. I remember how dad was insisting me on making Ahana a part of the firm but I always brushed it off saying she was enjoying her work already and I didn't want to suddenly ask her to leave all of that behind and come running for me.

Hardly a decade remains for her to do whatever she loves before Mr Kulkarni asks her to take over his firm. Let my darling enjoy her space, social burdens are too cruel for her delicate body. Her creativity and scholarship is finding way out of the multiple research programme she's working for. I wouldn't trade this world for that smile of hers.

“Abhaas, you there?" She asked me.
I nodded. God I need to stop daydreaming about her infront of her.
“And I feel the panditji will be there by 11. So the marriage ceremony will be pretty much in time, isn't it?”

She asked. Nihav and Ulka are getting married tomorrow. Time passes in a blink these days, leaving me wondering if I should finally ask her to get married.

“Abhaas! You keep drifting away. What's the matter?" She asked concerned.
"I'm trying but I just can't stop getting lost in your beauty.”
If I thought that that could make her blush then I was wrong.
Her eyes narrowed and she caught hold of my drink.
“No more drinks for you." She placed it next to her Mocktail.
I don't know why but she never drinks.

The waiter came and placed the bill on our table.
I lifted it up and was about to pull out my credit card when I noticed her.
She was looking at the bill like the toughest question paper was given to her and she didn't know how to answer.
“Ahana"
“Humm.."
“Do you want to pay?"
“You won't mind?"
“No. If you want to, you can pay."

Her face lightened up and she placed her card with the bill.
" I can't believe I'm paying for a date with one of the most eligible business tycoons in Mumbai.” She joked.
" Will you mind if the tycoon asks you to marry him?” The words slipped out of my mouth.

" Abhaas, are you serious?” She asked. She was trying hard to hide the amusement in her eyes but I knew she wanted it as much as I.
“Yes, I wanted to ask you in a proper manner but I just can't wait anymore.”
I said. I was nervous but it was Ahana we're talking about. There's no need to think twice with her, I could die with her without a doubt in mind.

“So will you marry me?" I asked.
She simply got up, took her credit card, and pulled me out of the restaurant.
I was scared now. I think taking her for granted will be off my to do list for the rest of my life.

We reached her car as she ran towards it, opened it and pulled something out.
The car was locked back and my love got on one knee in front of me. She held a gold ring in her hand.

“Abhaas Kale, you are the only person I loved my life, I hate you, I love you, I want to kiss you and I want to live my life with you.vI'm the problem machine and marrying me is like signing up for a scary rollercoaster life. But I love you and I want to marry you. Marry me?”

My instinct caused me to pull her by her face and kiss her feverishly. If there's one thing in life I'm really proud of, it is the decision of loving Ahana. She's my book of adventures, my ticking time bomb. She's love, care, support and madness. All this, all of this package and it is mine, only MINE.

“Nihav, are you sure you wanna do this?” Ishaan asked him.
