Snehal was practically boiling with anger and Tara looked like a dam about to break. I had slight idea about Tara doing something with regards to Abhaas and me with Myra but I didn't think it would be related to this. What has she done and why was she doing this anyways?
“I asked you to SPEAK!" Snehal yelled at her. I could see some people looking at us and the situation was turning dead serious.
Tara burst into a cry and fell on her knees. She covered her face with her hands as tears started rolling down her face.
Yash kneeled next to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. He looked so gentle and caring at that point, as if he's in love with her
He asked her calmly but with a determined look in his eyes.
“Tara, what did you do?"
Something moved in her heart and Tara started speaking,
“I didn't mean to hurt him. Myra said that we will show him how Ahana and Roop are together. That way he will stop thinking about her and....” she couldn't say anything else after that. Outside I was sad but inside, I was glad that she didn't continue.
I was already afraid of the feeling of love and standing infront of me was an example of what love can make you do. She caused harm to Abhaas; unknowingly but she did. And with that every ounce of pity I had for her is gone.
" Tara, let's them some heads up and tell the whole story. Serving only half the cake isn't going to work here.” Snehal quipped.
When Tara refused to speak, Snehal continued,
" While I was completing my internship for the last few months, I got to visit few places. One of them was Pune. I met Abhaas there. He told me how he's in a good touch with Tara who happens to take his help studying. What was confusing was that Tara was an arts student and Abhaas was completing MBA. He said she needed some help and he was willing to aid. I wanted to dig deep and see what's going on. So I kept quiet.
Afterwards I met Kunal who told me that Myra was studying with Ahana. Now though the two things appear different, there was one thing common and that was their feelings for Abhaas. I returned to Mumbai like two days ago and went to the cafe down the street. There I saw Myra talking to Roop and Tara was there too. My doubt was confirmed when I saw you dance with Roop in the party. Then I knew something was fishy, turns out the evil fish once belonged to our very pond.
When Roop was kneeling in front of you, Tara brought a phone close to you and asked you something, didn't she Ahana?”
" Yes she did, she asked me if I was okay and I said yes.” I replied.
" She was on phone with Abhaas. He must've hear the pretended monologue of Roop and then you said yes. Tara, please tell them if I'm lying. Tell them what you were doing with Myra and how you plotted Abhaas’ accident!”
“I didn't do that!!" Tara pleaded.
“Oh you didn't huh? Then what is all this? Say that you didn't try to break Abhaas and Ahana because you loved him. Say that you had no idea about what Myra was trying to do. Say it!!” Snehal was on fire.
" That explains the photos.” Ishaan interrupted.
All the eyes darted at him and he explained.
“When Abhaas and I were at Sanket's place, after he….did what he did, We found some photos of Ahana lying in Tara's drawer. Abhaas asked me to keep quiet about it but I can't keep it in anymore.”
                              Ulka asked,“You knew about Sanket?”
She was kneeling before Tara and shaking her shoulders. Nihav went forth and got hold of Ulka to pull her back.
“Tara I'M SPEAKING WITH YOU! Did you know about Sanket?”
" YES!!!” Tara replied.
We were all shocked. Yash looked hurt, Ishaan looked devastated and Snehal was disgusted.
"Why would you do that to Ahana? Why are you trying to throw her from one hell to another? How could you do that to your friend!!!” Ulka demanded.
" I did that because I love Abhaas. And he's busy loving her. Do you see what kind of pain I'm going through?
Yes, I knew Sanket was behind her and I knew how obsessed he was with her. And when Abhaas came to know about this he was acting very indifferent to me. Anyways he was showering me with absolutely no attention, he was always busy talking about Ahana, looking at her, loving her and thinking about her all the time. I was left alone with my one sided love.
I didn't want to do this but none of you came to help me. Myra did. She saw my pain and said she'll bring Abhaas back for me. She helped me change, she made me feel confident. Where were you when I needed all that help. You were busy consoling Ahana. But what about me? I'm equally a human and I was crying day and night. Sanket is still in boarding school and dad is always busy with work. I'm left here alone and a mess only to pick up the broken pieces of my heart that Abhaas refuses to accept.
I never knew doing this will cause so much of damage. All Myra told me was that I need to make Abhaas believe that Roop proposed and she said yes. I didn't know he was driving the car when Myra gave me the phone. I love him, I never stopped that unlike Ahana who was partying with the college hottie. I'm sorry for doing this but I'm not sorry for loving Abhaas.”
Tara stormed out of the place and went straight towards the hospital. To our surprise, Myra entered from the other side. She neared Tara and stopped. Tara responded by closing the remaining distance and gracing her left cheek with a tight slap. We were shocked, all of us. But even scarier was the fact that Myra didn't move. She didn't scream, shout or do the usual Myra thing. She just stood there.
Tara left the place and us in big big cloud of grey shades. So many revelations so many things happening. Above all, the innocent bubbly Tara was lost. She was now out of control, the best friend of mine who has turned into a foe. Until I was suspecting something weird about her, I was fine. Simply because there was nothing proven, no accused and no victims. But now that everything's out in the open, I see villians for who they are. I see how they dress like us, look like us, camouflage in us and how they stab us when least expected. They hold the power to take away your most precious of possessions. In my case, the life of that possession has just come back from the door of death.
After what felt like a millenia and we were still there under the tree, I spoke,
“Whatever happens. Nobody tells Abhaas about this. He should not start hating Tara. She's just brokenhearted and I know what heartbreaks can do to you. Give her some time, things will come back on track. As of now, stay here. I'll get us some sandwiches and juices.”
I as if commanded my forces to just mute all the emotions and followed the orders of my brain. So logically speaking, as of now, Tara is gone for good and Myra is nowhere to be seen. The parents have no idea about what has happened and I'm sure my friends will keep mum. About Abhaas, he thinks I'm in a relationship with Roop, he probably detests me. Well he has to trust me when I say that's not true. If what they say about his love for me is true, then he will stay and listen. If not then we're not meant to be.
It has been 2 hours since we came here, it is 9:30 pm. If my luck is good then he will wake up by tomorrow morning and that is when all that has to happen will happen. I leave all the situation in hands of my destiny. She decides now. I've been trying to get hold of situations and am miserably failing. So it's time to leave the reigns of my life and let the horses direct my way. Whether they take it the right way or we fall into hell is up to them now, the horses of my destiny. I have three options, Abhaas understands me, Abhaas doesn't understand me, I try my best and Abhaas doesn't understand; in both the latter options, I'm dying. In the third option though, I die peacefully. Then why opt for the third way when I can dir the same death without actually doing anything?

Life is being brutal with Ahana, do you think this is the end of her love for Abhaas?
