Readers, I'm really sorry for the delayed update. I was keeping really busy this week and couldn't update in time. So here's the chapter. Next update will be on Tuesday as usual.

I was wearing an ocean blue pair of jeans, a denim jacket and a white shirt that said 'Life is beautiful’. Finally I was ready. It was time for my little adventure with Nihav and I don't know why but I was excited. I was going to remain the calm and happy version of me for more than two hours today and I couldn't just wait to leave all these tensions behind.

For the nth time, my phone buzzed. I don't even have to look at it and I already know it is Nihav. He's been messaging me since morning.

Hope you remember your promise. - 10:07 am

I'll be picking you up at 4 pm. - 12:46 pm

Better get ready in time because I hate it when people make me wait. - 2:54 pm

I'm outside your house. Come fast. -  3:56 pm.

I read his text and peeped out of my front window. Yes, he was there. Wearing a red colour shirt over a grey t-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. He had come with a car.

He pulled down the tinted shades from over his eyes and waved at me. I waved back and then shut the window to go down. I started walking towards his car, I had this sudden desire to annoy him so I started walking really slow. I saw his disapproval  through the car window and that was enough to irk me more. I bent down near the pavement to watch a tiny flower .

He pressed the horn of his car a couple of times and that was fun. In response, I went back to walking slowly and finally reached his car. When I got inside, he asked.
“What were you doing?”
“You said in one of your thousand texts that you hate it when someone makes you wait.”

He looked at me like what an annoying peice of meat I was and then back at the road. In like two seconds, he got my joke and laughed lightly. I joined him in that.

“You sure as hell know how to pull my leg."
He said as he looked at me with utter annoyance. I replied,
“Yeah, especially when you just can't stop bugging me with your texts.”

He smiled again, that carefree look of his could melt even the hardest of hearts.
“In my defense, someone did forget to text me in the first place. So I figured it would be better if I remind you of the meet again and again.”
He replied ever so smartly.

I lifted both of my hands and gestured him that I give up. Thereafter we sat in comfortable silence. The car halted at a hill. Nihav shut the engine and then looked at me.

“I know I'm not allowed to ask any questions as we had a deal, but where have you brought me?” I asked. He didn't reply. He just pushed his chair behind and pulled out a packet.
“Open the door and get on the hood. You'll know why I brought you here.” He replied.

Such a mysterious man. I can't even reason as to why I hated him the first time we met. He appeared so cold and rude then, but the conversation we had that night changed my perspective. He didn't look cold anymore. He wasn't wearing any whites today, they made him look intimidating. He loved colors, that I knew. How mindless it is for us to believe first impression is the last impression!?? It can never be true, especially in the case of Nihav. He's so much better than those white coats and warm glasses of vine, he's so much than the rude mask and the professional gestures, he's a beautiful human being. I'm lucky to be his friend.

Nihav knocked on the half opened car window and gave me an irritated look. He asked,
“Why can't you follow at least one of my requests? You've annoyed me enough by that freakishly slow walk you had from your house to the car. Now at least come out!”
