I was back home and was dreading that Abhaas might be back too. So I closed the curtains of my window to shield me from embarrassment. I opened the mystery package and it was a chocolate with a note hanging on it.
Ahana, this is Myra. I just want to apologize for whatever I did to you and Tara. I was stupid and living in my own world. You were right when you said that I couldn't get over my crush on Abhaas. It is true. But the bigger truth is that he loves you. For my sake, just go and tell him that. I'm sure you both will be ghe best couple in town. I promise I will not meddle in your life again. I hope we remain friends. I know this isn't much but that's all I can do. Enjoy the chocolate.
Myra.
This certainly was the Myra monster. I'm glad there are no hard feelings. About the Abhaas part, why not give it a break and have some KitKat?
I heard noises from downstairs and saw my lovely parents over there.
I hugged them lovingly because it has been so long since I met them.
“Mom, congratulations on the case."
“You heard?”
" Yeah, Ishaan told me. I'm really happy for Mrs Mirajkar."
"Oh so am I. She's been really brave through this. I'm proud of her."
" And I'm proud of you mom!"
" And I am proud of the two beautiful women in my life." Dad said coming out of the kitchen.
"Proud of my princess for the great marks she scored and proud of my wife because of the success she's achieved. Come on now, it is time for some pav-bhaji."
All three of us sat for dinner as the warm goodness of pav-bhaji added a spicy touch to our conversation. Dad spoke about his business ventures with Nihav's dad and I told them about the colleges that I was applying for. They were more than happy to know that I wanted to try options outside Mumbai. Dad said it would enhance my studies and give me a better exposure.
Well he didn't have to deal with the possibility of long distance relationship. If only there is going to be a relationship.
I didn't realize when I fell asleep with Kaju by my side.
_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
It is freaking 6 pm in the evening and not one of my friends is ready to pick up my call. Even Tara seems to have switched off her phone. I just don't see how much of a sin it was to not tell them about Mrs Upadhye. Like yeah I forgot that she was Roop's mother but thats doesn't really change the fact that Mr Mirajkar is going to face a divorce.
Anyways, if they don't want to talk, then let's not talk. I returned to my laptop and filled all the application forms I could see.
Yes people. I'll be going to over 30 colleges at a time. That's the wrath of Ahana. Yeah as if anybody cares.
I heard the doorbell ring and ran downstairs like a hungry cavegirl waiting for her pizza delivery.
I opened the door and standing before me was Trisha Rajsimha, Snehal's sister. Remember she helped me after the Sanket episode?
"Trisha di!!!" I hugged her so tight I'm surprised she didn't complain.
"Oh dear I've missed you Ahana!!" She said.
I welcomed her inside and she told me that she wanted to go out for dinner with me. Ha!!!! If my friends reject me, I get new ones. Who was I to refuse the offer of my new bestie? I got ready in an hour and we were standing outside my house waiting for Trisha di's ride.
When her car actually halted before us, I had another shock.
Sitting inside was Sanket Paranjpe, Tara's brother and my very first stalker. The mere presence of this guy brought chills in my spine. That horrendous day when he tried to force himself on me is as fresh in my memories as a newly bloomed flower.
I just stood by the car but Trisha insisted me to get inside. Once in the car started moving with me in the back seat and Trisha and Sanket in the front seats.
