Author's note
Ahana may not be thinking about anyone other than Abhaas, but the world has decided otherwise. Will she sustain the antics of college life or give into them?

“So tomorrow, I hope I'll get some good response from you students, at least few of the many heads may have read the reference books. I don't expect much. The last batch didn't work hard and I'm sure you will do the same. Meet you tomorrow.” said our teacher Mrs.Atre.
I had an idea of the kind of people alive on earth, but she is on a whole new level. The teacher seems to have reached another degree of chargin. It has hardly been 8 months since we started college but she has already given up on us.
Yes I get that the last batch of students were infact an army of devils! They were monsters who harassed her by not submitting assignments on time and not attending her lectures. I am compassionate for her situation and the hardship destiny had put her into.
But our batch is good! We're humans.
She need not treat us like crap!!!!If one batch of cookies was burnt, will she not be eating the next? Will she be able to give up on the crunchy chocolaty sinfully sweet cookies just because she THINKS they're bad? What a dope!
I exchanged looks with Sampriya as the teacher left our classroom. That lady there has some serious malfunction in her head but as long as she holds the power to give us our internal marks, her word is the statement of god for me.

My college is otherwise a merry place. The teachers common room is on ground floor and our classes are on first, second and third floor. The college takes care of our mental as well as physical development. So it has debarred any student from using the elevator so for every other lecture that's scheduled on the third floor, we go all the way up.
The heaven of my college, canteen is situated on the ground floor and there we are presented with all kinds of delicacies from pav bhaji to pasta. The students here are selected from the creamy layer of leading schools and hence we have quite a tough competition. While there are a few exceptions, most of our teachers are really great and supportive. They make us work harder and become better. Mrs. Bhandarkar is the best of all, she's my language teacher and teaches both English and Sanskrit. She is one of the important supports I need in life. And then there is Mrs. Atre. Anyways now that I remember her, I think it's better to get going on the assignment she's given us and complete it.
With Sampriya, I entered the library. If I complete it today, I will be able to breath with freedom for the entire weekend. I know I'm not doing anything special on the weekend except giving two online tests, applying for a new course and sit with a bowl of chips and Kaju to watch my favorite series online.
Both of us entered the library and gave our library cards to the grumpy looking old man on the desk. We've gotten used to ignoring him because he is the kind of person that will frown over a bunch of puppies and shoo them away. He returned us our cards and we hurried our way to the Sanskrit section. When enter the Sanskrit section of our college library, you know taking up Sanskrit for majors is your best decision. It was like opening the freezer for a water bottle and being greeted with a nutella pyramid instead. It's bliss.
The books ranged from ancient treatises of Vedas to the very recent works on Sanskrit. I could read from physics to plays, everything and anything and yet, all I read is Sanskrit.
We took our seats in the reading section with around 4 books in hand. Reading and reading I didn't realize that we were there for quite some time. I needed one last book for the reference of Bhasa, the Sanskrit play writer and so I went back to the shelves. I found the book on the upper shelf and inspite of being 5ft 6 inch, which is not at all short, I couldn't reach it. Suddenly the book vanished. Like pufft!! I looked around, any wizard here? There was nothing. Am I transferred to the Hogwarts library?
