Hot damn, it's been a while. I honestly forgot about this, lols. Well, after back-reading and analyzing the story once more, I can get up and back to it so yeah. I'll keep updating, don't worry.

It's almost time. Argus thought, watching the clock count down the remaining hour before the *king's arrival.
(Yeah, I use Prince and King for Zhask. The only reason he's referred as King is because he rules the world of the Kastiyans)
"1 hour, 2 minutes"
Argus blinked, time really does pass when you're occupied. He looked up at the sky, there he saw a planet with the color of angry flames. The red of the planet was beautiful in it's own way.
He saw space and matter swirl around a large portion of the planet. Oh well, everyone was given binoculars. Argus knew all too well the Queen doesn't even want them to know about Zhask. She was reluctant to hand out the binoculars too.
But eh, it was a one time thing.
He pulled the binoculars over his eyes and observed through the lens. A large ship-like craft was causing the swirling.
He asked Rafaela, who was conveniently beside him, "What's happening?"
"The gravity is too strong. The planet is so complex, I assure you of that, Argus. That's why it would take an hour or a half before the ship gets here. During that hour, the King is summoning enough mana to create a big enough portal to get them out of the planet's gravity."
"I don't get it. Why didn't he summon or save up energy before that and...how is the planet complex? It's just strong gravity."
"I didn't explain enough. There are places that have 0 gravity there for some odd reasons, but the water there stays stuck still on the ground as if there was gravity. Also, the King absorbs the energy around him, he also takes the brain waves from the people around him. No, it would not affect them. The air craft's attempt at escaping the atmosphere of the planet adds to his mana absorption."
"You explain horribly, Raf."
"Then don't bother asking again."
They descended into silence once more. They watched the craft move inches by inches. Not really trying to escape, just trying to continue the conflict of something wanting to leave but the other holding it back.
The silence was interrupted when gas erupted from the atmosphere of the Planet. It elicited gasps from the on lookers. It blasted fast and wide, almost as fast as light. It almost felt like it slowed itself down, as if wanting to give the onlookers a show,
As if it was intended
Argus narrowed his eyes at the ship that was slowly moving, he watched as the atmosphere around it twirled and danced with such grace. A dance with grace should always be accompanied by a melodious song.
He was sure that all that could have been heard was crackling and shouts that couldn't be heard.
He sighed, and lowered his binoculars.
"General Argus." Argus turned around to see Harley, the nephew of the Queen. He wore his tux as always. He was leaning on his staff, fiddling with his card as usual.
"Prince Harley, what is it?" Argus asked. Rafaela immediately dropped her binoculars and turned to face Harley. She smiled gently, Harley didn't seem to notice and continued to address Argus.
"The Queen calls for you. Be quick."
"Very well."
Just like that, Harley disappeared, leaving his hat that would soon disappear as well.
Argus glanced up at the dark sky. The clouds were still visible.
"What a bad omen... it's about to rain."
