"We only have 24 hours to do this," Steve said instantly snapping the girl out of her thoughts. She turned to look at him, the winter air hitting her face and blowing through her hair as the two rode on Steve's bike down a trail that lead to the Hydra base.
Steve glanced back at her and he gave her a small smile. "Ready?" He asked. Anne was attempting to try and act better for Steve so she gave him a small smile in return before pressing a small kiss to his cheek. She then tightened her grip around his waist before whispering, "Ready."
"Remember," Steve called out over the wind. "If we somehow get separated, use the earpieces that Stark gave us." He then gestured towards the earpiece he had on and Anne nodded. "Okay," She said.
As soon as the word had left her mouth a sound came from behind them signaling that they weren't alone. Anne glanced back and caught sight of six soldiers following behind them with guns attached to their bikes and pointing at them. She quickly grabbed Steve's shield and aimed it behind them to protect them from the guns.
The soldiers began to shoot at the two and Anne sighed in relief once the shield began to deflect every shot. Steve turned a corner and Anne made sure that the soldiers were following them before saying, "Now."
Steve pressed a button on the bike that realized a long rope. The rope connected to a set of trees and Anne smirked when she saw the rope knock two of the soldiers off of their bikes. "Two down," she yelled out to her boyfriend.
Steve pressed another button that released a bunch of fire from the back of their bike. One of the soldiers got caught in the fire and before they knew it, the guy had driven off the path and crashed into a tree. The bike he was riding flew out into the road and Anne laughed softly when another soldier tripped over the bike and went flying through the air.
"Two more left," Anne called out. She began looking for the other two soldiers and frowned when she noticed that they were nowhere in sight.
"Anne," Steve yelled and she quickly turned around to see that the other two soldiers were now in front of them. Anne thought for a second before saying, "Get close to them. I got this." Steve nodded and did as she said.
As they drove by, Anne leaned forward and attached a mini bomb to one of the bikes. "Go!" She yelled at Steve and he quickly sped up. They drove by the bikes and Anne smiled when the one bike blew up, knocking the other one down in the process.
They were almost to the entrance by now and it was no surprise that there was a huge tank waiting for them. "Shield!" Steve yelled and Anne quickly grabbed the shield before handing it to the boy. He placed it at the front of the bike just as the tank shot at them, each shot either missing or bouncing off of the shield.
They grew closer and Steve pressed a button that threw missiles at the tank causing it to explode. The two drove right by the wreckage and into the camp where a ton of soldiers began firing at them.
"Ready?" Steve called out. "Ready!" Anne replied and then the two jumped off of the bike and began fighting the soldiers in front of them. Steve began fighting with his shield and knocked people out every time he threw it. As for Anne, she would pull out arrows and shoot up to five at a time, each one hitting their intended target.
The two super soldiers fought as hard as they could until two men in the same robot gear that Anne had seen the day Bucky died walked out. Fire came out of the hands and Anne frowned when the two got trapped in a ring of flames. The two froze and by the time the flames had died down, they were surrounded by soldiers.
