"I know, I don't think that anyone was... I guess it was the stress from me being away on tour after everything." My heart hurts as I stand outside of the home office and listen to Elliott on his phone.
I didn't want to keep things from him, things that he could possibly help me with, I mean, look how sour everything got last time.
Quietly I walked away not wanting him to hear me eavesdropping, maybe trusting him with this was a bad idea. Why would he even tell anyone about it, in some ways I feel betrayed in more ways I feel hurt.
Good things are happening to me and I can't seem to enjoy it, to feel how great life once was when I was completely oblivious to a cheater who I thought was the love of my life.
To not have the world watch me, to being a nobody. Do not get me wrong, I am grateful for this life and what it has to offer but, it's still tearing me apart.
"Mommy, I made you something." Aiden comes rushing towards me, a thin sheet of paper flapping around in his hand. "You did, what is it?" I kneel looking at it as he holds it and I hold him.
"It's our family, teacher told me it was art and that I have a big family." I chuckle looking at everyone in the finger painted art. Everyone close to me was here and I loved it.
"Look what I made Gianna." Gerard holds up a beaded bracelet and I smile at it holding out my hand. "This is really nice sweetheart."
"Thank you, I want to give it to daddy." My smile is brighter and I feel my heart getting warm. "I'll make sure he gets it."
"Come on Aiden, lets go play!" He grabs Aiden's hand and they both run off. "Who brought them home?"
"That would be me." Tim says as he approaches us. "How's Mia?" I stand brushing off my knees as Elliott walks closer to his friend. Tim has been visiting us more often now ever since things with him and Mia started going bad.
For some reason, she was super hormonal and wanted him away, at least, that's what he said. In my defense, I just thought he was the problem and not her.
"She's alright and not ready for me to be home." Elliott's phone begins ringing and he looks at it. "Excuse me." He leaves and I begin walking. "What's really going on Tim?"
"What do you mean?" I turn around to face him. "With you and Mia, she's not complaining to me about anything but yet, here you are saying this and that."
"Gianna, I'm sure that if we were in any kind of trouble you'd be the first to hear. I mean, don't you tell each other everything?" I cock a brow at him. "Apparently not, because I still haven't heard anything about why you are here."
"Is me being here a problem?" He shoves his hands in his pocket, his expression metamorphosed to sadness and worry. "Absolutely not, I'm just trying to figure out what's going on with you two."
"Like I said, it's nothing serious. You know Mia more than anyone and you know sometimes she needs her space."
"Yes and I need my husband." We both chuckle. "I promise to not take up anymore of his free time that he normally uses on you."
"That's what I like to hear." I wink and begin walking away. "I'm going to start making dinner."
It was the weekend and Tim was still staying with us. My mom nor Vitoria haven't visited us in awhile and I understand that everyone has their lives going for them.
It was just going to be holidays now, I could feel it. "No Mia, I promise you that he's not going out at nights without Elliott, he's not talking on his phone unless with you and I've got my eye on him."
