A smile stretched across my face as I watched Tyler and Aiden play in the grass in my back yard.
Four days ago Tyler's true feelings were confessed to me and I couldn't stop thinking about it. Now, everything he did made me feel something but, Elliott always filled my thoughts. I sigh pulling my shades down and closing my eyes.
"Hey sleepy head." I hear Tyler say almost immediately after said actions. I look up at him as his shirtless body shined down at me blocking the sun. "Hey." I smile looking through the shades.
"I was about to order something to eat for Aiden and I, do you need anything?"
"I'll have whatever you're having." He raises a brow. "Are you sure? Supermodels shouldn't eat carbs." I chuckle. "If you haven't noticed I have an amazing body and I've always had." I gesture with my arms and he watches. "That you do." He says with a smirk then walks away. "Don't get sun burnt pretty lady." He says as he leaves and I tilt my glasses to watch him go.
"Fine wine, fine wine." I say softly as he goes.
A few minutes later I was in the pool relaxing and doing back strokes. "Hey G." Tyler calls to me and I open my eyes then stopped. "What's up?"
"The security brought this up. Said it was from Mia." I swim quickly to the edge of the pool. Mia, I haven't heard from her since our dispute, why would she send me a package.
"What's in it?" I asked since it was already opened. Security check at the very least. "Looks like clothes." He looks in the box after taking out a note.
"What does the note say?" I asked confused as I am wondering why she would send me clothes after not talking to me for so long.
"You didn't RSVP my evite for the HoeFash ball tonight. I know how you get with finding outfits so here is something I thought would look great on you, let's hope it fits since I used your old dress size." He reads and I widen my eyes at the last part.
"Doesn't she know you have an amazing body?" He teases gesturing with his hands while still holding the box. This forces a laugh out of me and he sets the box down then sits.
"Hey, I know you consider her as a sister and you both went through something but please go." I look up at him with my hands resting at the side of the pool where he sits. "You don't want anything to happen then it's too late and you're sorry, work it out before it's too late."
"Ok." I say as I look up at him, was he thinking about his wife when he was telling me this? I'm still yet to ask about her, I haven't seen any pictures when I went to his place... it just looks like a man's place, like a woman was never there.
I wanna ask about his wife so bad, I want him to tell me everything that happened the same way I confided in him about me and El. But, maybe it's for the best why he hasn't told me. Perhaps I'd see him differently, maybe in a bad way... but...
"Hey Ty, can I ask you something?" He looks down at me. "Sure, anything."
"Will you be my plus one tonight?"
"Are you sure?" He raises a brow. "I mean I'd love to but, that's a huge event and the paparazzi... we said we wouldn't let them get the wrong idea and if we go together it's the wrong idea." I laugh. "Let them get the wrong idea." I push myself away from the edge and float away spreading my arms.
"I don't want to live my life hiding, I want to enjoy what's left of it. If they don't want to believe we're friends then that's on them." I splash him. "Did you just splash me?" He questions raising his brow.
"No." I widen my eyes and back away. "You're lying too? No no this can't do." He jumps into the pool and I begin to swim to the steps. "Tyler no! It was a joke." As soon as I get to the steps he grabs me, dunks me and all I hear is water rushing pass my ears.
