The sun felt great as it poured on my skin, the wind whisked through my hair and Aiden sat on my lap as he played games on my phone.
I wrap my arms around him enjoying the outside world. "Smile." Elliott says as he comes around the wooden bench in our yard. "Aiden, look at daddy." He looks up and I place my head on top of his, tucking some hair behind my ear.
We both pose for the photo then Elliott takes a seat beside us. "Is it okay if I post it?" He asks as he shows me the photo. "Sure." I rub my hand over Aiden's hair as he leans back, his head now resting on my chest.
"I'm really proud of you Gianna." He says putting his arm around me, I lay my head on him and he kisses my hair. "I'm proud of me too El." I say meaning every word, I really was proud, coming out of my shell and all.
It reminded me of how I felt when I shedded the nerdy exterior. "Is taking another photo now too much?" I chuckle and I hear the shutter sound from his phone's camera.
"No Elliott, It's not. You want to take pictures of your family, that's perfectly okay. I'm done depriving you of capturing memories."
"Yes, but, if you're not okay with it, I will respect that." He begins rubbing his hand up and down my arm. "It's fine... why did you take so long to come up last night?" I wondered where he was because I took a shower then went to bed and I don't remember him getting into it.
"You left your underwear in the garage-" I giggle. "Your mom saw it, didn't she?" He chuckles. "No, I walked over to it and hid it, but, before you interrupted me... I was going to say that my mom was talking to me about her house." I sit up to look at him.
"Is everything alright?" He nods. "Nothing serious." Aiden drops my phone then shuffles from my lap. "And, my manager called, I'm to do an appearance at a birthday party for a 5 year old girl later."
"What would a 5 year old know about your music?" He chuckles. "I'm guessing they liked the song I made for Aiden and her mother wants me to sing it there, it's a unisex song, remember, Angel can mean boy or girl."
"Or, the mother is using it as an excuse to see you." I roll my eyes folding my arms then watch Aiden run around. He looks so lonely playing by himself, I sigh.
"Are you jealous?" He teases, I turn to look at him. "You bet I am. Aiden and I are tagging along." I smile at him. "It is a kid's party after all." He chuckles then pecks my lips. "That would be great."
"Yes, I better go get some clothes ready for us to wear later." I stand pulling up my jeans that were a little loose at the waste. "Great, I didn't want to do mine, thank-"
"Hey hey now, aren't you paying someone to dress you?"
"Yes but, she can't make it." I roll my eyes at him. "Then maybe you should fire her, don't get me started on her long list of incompetence."
"She's one of the best and she works for many others." I place my hands on his knees leaning over. "Here is a tip." His eyes shoot straight to my chest, a satisfied grin on his face then his eyes leveling with mine.
"Get a guy stylist, those guys will treat you like a barber, they will be loyal to you." I smile patting his knee as I'm about to make my departure, he grips my wrist.
"I'm still not too keen on you having a guy stylist, maybe we should switch?"
"Hell no. If I'm going to get back out there, I'm going to need my stylist again. Now let go of me so I can go get our outfits." He let's go of me and as I walk away he slaps my ass, I smile looking back at him, he sits as if he did nothing wrong... It was alright.
