El's POV

I walked towards Ed and went and stood in front of him. I glared down at him for a while but when he didn't bother and notice me, I sighed to myself and said:

"Hey"

Ed was startled as he looked up at me with confusion. I gave him a small smile and raised my eyebrows.

"Hi"

He replies as he rakes his hand thorugh his hairs messing them up, only to make them and himself look more sexy than ever.

Shutup, Beth! Focus on the agenda at hand. Yeah, Yeah. Once I diverted back my attention to the matter at hand, I kept on looking at him silently enjoying my vantage point which allowed me to tower over him. After some time, Edward was flustered and he sighed in irritation.

"Why are you looking at me like that, Elizabeth? What have I done now?" he asked me as he stood up and brushed the sand off of his shorts.

"Nothing except for the fact that you left your baby sister all alone on the beach and that you made her cry." I jabbed back at him.

I mean seriously how can he not know? Who does that to a small girl!

"What? Hayley was crying? Where is she?" Ed asked me while he visibly panicked as he looked behind me, searching for her.

"She's fine. She over there playing with her friend." I pointed out to where Hayley was busy playing with her friend, while her friend's mother sat nearby reading a book.

Edward visibly relaxed and gave me a small smile and said:

"I am sorry. I didn't realize. Thanks."

"Its okay. And I am not the one you should be apologizing to." I solemnly replied as my heart flutterred when he looked at me yet again with that silent brooding look of his.

Edward nodded and started to walk off in Hayley's direction but I quickly moved and held his hand to stop him. Excitement and shivers coursed through my palm into my entire body. I relived in that very moment all the old, forgotten sensations I had always felt whenever we touched. I looked up to see Ed looking at me with a shocked expression painted on his face. I quickly let go of his hands and said:

"I am sorry about that. But I want to talk to you."

Instead of saying anything he remained silent and still looked shocked. I did a happy dance in my mind rejoicing over the fact that he was equally flustered by my touch as I was by his.

Elizabeth Jane Anderson, FOCUS!

Oh Yeah! I forgot.

I cleared my throat and said:

"I'll take that as a yes. Can we sit down here?"

"Sure." Ed replied.

We sat down side by side on the sand and I was flooded with memories of us doing the same thing when we were together. But back then the difference was we sat close to each like we were stuck with glue or something. I shook the memories out of my head and turned towards him and said in a serious tone:
