It was hard to tell who felt more out of place as they arrived at the nearby fair: Sky was immediately on edge because of the potential dangers that the crowd may pose and Mason just generally wasn't used to being at such large events. For a moment he wondered why he even suggested coming.

Charlie, on the other hand, was incredibly excited. He grabbed Sky by the hand and was able to pull her along with him while she was still processing what was happening. As soon as she had, she stopped and caused his excited run to come to a halt.

He pouted as he turned to face her and Sky was trying her utmost hardest not to glare, but Charlie seemed to get the message regardless and dropped her hand with his mood immediately dampened.

"What shall we do first?" Mason asked since he wasn't sure what attractions there were in this fair.

"I can't really remember what they have here," Lily said and the others nodded in agreement. "How about we just walk around and see what catches our interest?"

They agreed on their plan of action and started to make their way through the crowds, stopping every now and then when something caught their attention; this was mostly the case for Charlie who wanted to stop and go on every other ride.

"Charlie, you have to be more selective," Rhys said as he looked inside his wallet and sighed in exasperation after his little brother wanted to go on his fifteenth ride. "The others won't keep waiting forever and mum didn't give us that much money."

Charlie pouted as he turned to look at the other three; Mason and Lily offered apologetic smiles and Sky shrugged her shoulders as she verbally responded. "He's right, you know."

Charlie was able to control himself better after the short chat and as the group continued to walk around a bit more it was actually Sky who next found something she wanted to have a go at.

She suddenly gasped beside them and they turned to look at her in surprise before turning to follow her gaze which was aimed at a high striker. "I have to try that!"

The only thing the rest of the group could do was follow along behind her as she rushed off to get there quickly; luckily for her, the queue was pretty much non-existent as everyone else seemed to prefer the rides.

The guy running the attraction was about to welcome her to the ride when she decided she wanted to warm up a little bit. She was clearly oblivious to the attention that she was accumulating as she practiced some moves and punches, much to the embarrassment of Lily and Mason. Rhys, on the other hand, pulled Charlie away a little distance.

When Sky didn't manage to crack the high score the first time, she tried again. When she continuously didn't break it Lily had to pull her away to stop her from wasting all of her parents' money on a single attraction, which upset Sky.

She immediately seemed to forget about her sadness though when she spotted a shooting range nearby. A smile graced her lips as she led the group over there before turning to them once they'd reached it. "Are we all going to have a go?"

They all shook their heads as Sky frowned before her gaze fell on Mason. "Have you ever tried one of these before?"

Mason was a little surprised at the question but knew where it was leading. "Uh... Yes?"

Sky nodded. "So you haven't. I'll pay for you so come here. You need to try it at least."

Mason didn't have much choice when Lily nudged him forward and Sky paid for both of them before pressing a gun in his hands; she started shooting immediately but Mason was a bit more hesitant.

"I'm just going to go and buy a drink real quick. Does anyone want anything?" Rhys asked suddenly. They all shook their heads, not wanting to be in his debt, as he walked off to get himself and Charlie some refreshments.
