"Katie, you hungry?" Simone asks as she leads her best friend into her kitchen.
"Kinda, can you make me mac and cheese?" Katie pleads as she sits on a bar stool.
"I wish I had mac and cheese, my house is on a strict diet." Simone says with a groan.
"Ew, I hate it when you diet! You never have good food!" Katie whines, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Anywaysss, what's up with the surprise visit, you okay?" Simone asks, leaning against the counter facing Katie.
A weary smile then crosses Katie's face. Automatically, Simone grows a scowl on her face knowing Katie must have done something she shouldn't have done.
"Katie, I swear to God if you took a turtle off the street again-"
"I didn't, and that was one damn time! He looked like he needed help!"
"He bit you."
"Gerald was an amazing turtle with the best intentions!" Katie argued with a sterns tone causing Simone to flinch.
"Back to business, I did nothing wrong." Katie says after a pause.
"Are you sure? Because your face is telling me a different story." Simone says, crossing her arms over her chest.
