"Hey" Tyler says when he spotted Simone sitting on the swing.
"Hi"
"Can we talk?"
"About what?" Simone says in a tone showing she doesn't care.
"Us."
"There's no us." Simone says with a shrug.
"But there was."
A pause passed over the two.
"I'm ready when you are." Simone says softly.
"Now is perfect."

"Why did you leave without even telling me?" Tyler questions, taking a seat on the steps leading up to the house.
"I could ask you the same thing."
"Simone, stop playing ga-"
"You left me without even telling me. You left me for-"
"For what Simone? I've been here for you all along!" Tyler argues, his voice raising in the slightest bit.
"You left me for her Ty, you left me for her." Simone says, her voice still calm.
"She's my girlfriend-"
