okay so i'm supposed to be doing homework right now but i really wanna talk about the show last night (the 29th of october 2018) so here i am. (i'm gonna split this into sections so hopefully it's easier to read)
my outfit:
i picked it the day before the show and i liked it for the most part. i did feel like i looked a bit too fem but oh well gender roles suck.

film crew:
it was a lot of work, but it was a ton of fun as well. there were ten of us in total, two freshmen (including me), 3 sophomores, and then 5 various upperclassmen. we got to interview the producers of the broadway show and we also did man on the street, which is basically when you stand on a corner and hope people will want to answer your questions on camera(most of the time they don't). after we finished with all the film stuff we had two extra hours, so our film teacher/chaperone let us go do whatever we wanted in the city.
free time:
for some odd reason, most of the people in our group wanted to go to starbucks, but me, the other freshman, and the PAVE I senior "mentor" went to dunkin doughnuts (where i burnt my tongue) and then we went to h&m and forever 21. it was a lot of fun and i bonded with the humans.
dinner:
we had pizza and chatted. the end. (not really but i'm lazy)
the show:
okay so the show we went to see was called The Prom, and its a completely original broadway musical and its so fucking good and it's about a girl who was both outcasted and famous because her school's pta cancelled the prom instead of letting her take her girlfriend to prom and a bunch of failing actors found out and went to indiana to "help" and ended up fucking shit up a lot but there were so many feelings, and fun fact: i broke down at one point during the show and my friend (the freshman) had to give me a hug while i was literally sobbing because i related to one of the characters so much at that moment and ughhhh it was amazing. i really recommend you go if you have the opportunity (or bootleg it when you can) because its just so moving.
(im so sorry for the long stream of conscience it was just so good!)
okay so that was my long and over dramatic summary of the show, but if you wanna check it out, i put the video from the homepage up top cos it really is amazing.
