River Phoenix - Live a little

Ughhhhh
I run my hands through my hair.
I don't understand stand why someone would put letters in math?
Were they a pyshocpath or something?
It's 11:30 pm and I'm only working on question three..... Of thirty. And I've been doing this for an hour.
I want to cry.
But I need to focus.
I start stare at the problem again only to be startled by something hitting my window.
I ignore it.
I do the first step in the problem again. Another tap at my window.
Step two... Hey I might be getting a hang of this.
Another tap, I decide to check it out.
I walk over to the window and open it. Only to be hit near the eye by a small pebble.
"Hey!" I whisper yell "What the hell?"
"Oh Y/N, babe, I'm so sorry I didn't know you were opening your window" My boyfriend of two years,  River, Said.
"What are you doing here?"  I ask holding my eye
"Wanna come to a party?"
"No I'm doing my home work" I whispers "Like a good child"
"C'mon Y/N, Live a little"
"I do." I cross my arms and rest them on the windowsill "Just not on a Thursday night, when I have school the next day."
"So?" He says "Sounds like you deserve a night off from being little miss obedient"
"I'm sorry, what did you just call me?"
"I said you're a little miss obedient who doesn't break rules." He crosses his arms "If I didn't know better, I'd dare you."
"Real subtle, River, real subtle"
I walk away from the window , brush my hair, and throw on some shoes. After that I slip out the window and close it slightly,  making sure I have a way back in.
"Y'know, Sometimes I really hate you River Phoenix." I say
"Oh yea?"
"Yea, but sometimes I love you."
"So do you love or hate me right now?"
"I'm not sure yet"
He laughs and puts his arm over my shoulders while we walk to his vehicle
We get in and head to the party, River reaches for my hand and holds it
We get to the party and have an awesome time.
After a couple hours we decided head back home
"Thanks for daring me to come tonight, River." I say
"Thanks for never turning down a dare, Y/N" We laugh
We get back to my house
"Night, River, See you tomorrow at school, Love you."
"Night, Love you too." He kisses my temple
I start to walk back to my house
"Hey, Y/N?"
"Yea?" I turn to look at him
"Do you happen to have the answers to the math homework?"
I laugh
"Night River."
