Max's POV "Shorty? What's wrong?" Her head shots up and it's like a wave of color hits her eyes. "MAX!" She runs up and hugs me, I hug back, but she called me by my really name, Nerris would never do that. Unless somethings wrong. "Nerris, what happened? Are you ok?" She just shakes her head and continues to hug me. "Dad! You did it! You made her better!" Nerris than starts crying, and keeps repeating, you're ok. I just continue to ask her, figuring I'll ask her later. I pick her up and carry her to the couch, where she starts to fall asleep in my arms. "Dad, what's wrong with her?" I shrug, not actually knowing what's wrong with her, I never expected being emotionless, or what makes you emotionless. All I know is she's ok now, and her parents are in jail, and nothing can hurt her anymore. She's safe here, with me, Neil, and Preston, she's safe. And with that thought, I fall asleep, holding Nerris in my arms.
Preston's POV "Come on Pres, we need to get you to bed." Daddy than grabs my hand and starts to bring me to my room. "What about Nerris?" "Let her sleep with Dad tonight bud." I nod my head, knowing dad is really worried about her, and want to make sure she's safe. "Do I still need to go to school tomorrow?" Daddy shakes his head no, and a smile grows on my face, but than I remember, tomorrow is the last day of school! But I'm not going to tell dad, because than he'll make us go, and I really don't want to. Once we get up to my room, daddy picks out my PJs and helps me put them on. Than tucks me into bed, where I soon fall asleep.
^In the morning^
Neil's POV I had waken up early to make breakfast for everyone. As me and Max grew up, I became more of the girl in the relationship, I cook, I clean, do the Landry and stuff like that, while Max does all the outdoors work, like mowing and running the garden. (I want you all to know, I'm not sexiest, in fact, I'm a girl! And I know girls mow the law and shit, but I'm being raised on that's "mans work" do that's what I know best! Don't hate me!") So I had waken up early to make pancakes for everyone. I see Max and Nerris come into the kitchen, and Nerris face is all red. "Good morning" I say to the both of them, Max doesn't say anything, but goes straight for the coffee pot. "Shorty, wanna cup?"
Max's POV She nods her head and I make her a small cup. "What do you have in it?" "Nothing, just black." I shake my head, and poor a cup of black coffee for the both of us. "Good morning! Dad, daddy, Nerris!" And at the same time me and Nerris say, "You're way to hyper for this time of day." Preston starts dying of laughter, probably thinking that was the best thing he's ever seen.
Preston's POV That's the best thing I've ever seen! Dad always tell me that, and I remember that day the Nerris told me on the bus. "Breakfast." I grab Nerris's hand, and drag her to the table. I than pull her close to my mouth and whisper into her ear, "Don't tell them, but today's the last day of school, and we get to skip today." An evil smirk grows on her face, and I start to giggle. "What are you two planning over there?" I say nothing, and start to eat my pancakes, same goes for Nerris.
^After breakfast^
Nerris's POV After breakfast, Preston dragged me to his room, to play dress up, and the out fit he gave me was ridiculous. It's a blue dress, and what makes it worse, is he's wearing a prince outfit, saying I'm his princess!

This is the worst day, it's so embarrassing! "Come on!" "Oh god, princey, where are we going?" But he doesn't say anything, he just keeps dragging me, than I realize, he's pulling me down stairs. "CD! We should most definitely not show big hair and Neil!" He just giggles and continues to drag me, but now I'm trying to get out of his grip. I fail, and before I know it, we're in front of them. "Dad! Look how cute we are!" I just stand there and blush like crazy, being super embarrassed now. "What's up with the dog ears?" I hear big hair ask, and now I'm walking back up to his bedroom, to change back, because I'm NOT staying in a stupid dress all day.
Preston's POV I'm kinda sad she left, she was so cute in a dress! "I put the dog ears on her, because it was cute." I say to dad, who asked why she was wearing them. He nods his head and asked why she left. I shrug and head up stairs to see why she ran out like that, or walked out. I walk up stairs and what I see next makes me want to laugh, Nerris is trying, but failing, to get her hoodie on, and now she's stuck. "Want help?" She nods her head and I walk over to help her.
Max's POV It was weird seeing Nerris in a dress, kinda like it was weird seeing my in a tux. "She was cute wasn't she?" I heard Neil ask me. "It was weird." I say being honest, he stares for a minute, than nods his head in agreement. As he was doing that, Nerris and Preston had made there easy back downstairs. "Hey daddy, can you make cookies?" He gives puppy eyes and I start to snicker. Neil groans but says yes. Preston starts jumping up and down and Nerris stops him, with fear in her eyes. I walk over to her and ruffle her hair. "I'm glad you're ok shorty." "Same here big hair." And she hugs my legs.
A. N.~ The only reason I made her emotionless in the first place, was because I honestly just wanted to put gray eyes on her, I thought it was cute, but I changed her back, because I WAS NOT going to kill off Max, it even put him in the hospital again! Well not till later >:). That's the end, Bye~
