Your POV

*10 years old*

I was sat under the tree by the lake.
This was where my best friend Tom and I would always meet...

I hear the sound of footsteps running towards me and I look behind the tree to see Tom running towards me.

He sits down next to me as soon as he gets here.

"Hey Y/n!" He says
"Hey." I say quietly putting a smile on.

"What's wrong?" He asks with a worried look on his face.
"Tom....I'm moving." I say

"W-What?" He stutters
"My parents. My dad got a job in America." I say
"But... that's so far away! I wouldn't be able to see you." He says
"I know. I'm sorry. I wouldn't move if I had a choice but I don't and-." I start, tears welling up in my eyes.

But I was silenced when Tom hugged me tightly.
I shut my eyes tightly and hugged him back just as tight.

After a few moments we finally let go of each other.
"I'm gonna miss you so much." He says
"Me too Tom. Me too..." I say full on crying now.
He was crying too.
It broke me heart just to see him in pain.

We wiped our eyes and just sat there in silence.
"So... when are you moving?" He asks
"Tomorrow." I say
He looks at me with pain in his eyes.
Then I start crying again.
We hug each other tightly and just stay like that.  We eventually let go and just hung out until our parents came to pick us up.

I look back at my house and then look at the car.
My parents where saying their goodbyes to the Holland's.
Tom goes up to me and we hug again.

"Don't forget us ok?" He says after pulling away.
"How could I ever forget my best friend?" I ask
He smiles.
"And hey, keep up your acting career. Maybe one day you'll get to play Spider-Man." I say lightly punching his shoulder.
"Ok." He says laughing.
"Keep up your dancing and acting too." He says
"I've only been in plays. Not broadway." I say smiling.

"Hey! Who knows, maybe you'll get into movies and Tv shows too." He says
"Come on Y/n!" Mom yells

We hug once more and I say goodbye to the Holland's.
"I'll never forget you Tom." I say
"Same here." He says

I get in the car and we start driving to the airport. I look back at the Holland's and they were waving.
I open the window and wave back.
After I finished waving I put my arm back in the car, and closed the window.

Hopefully one day I will see them again.

*12 years later*

I was lying in my bed reading Rebels of Eden by Joey Graceffa.

(Great book! Recommend the series!!! The first one is Children of Eden)

My phone dings and I received an email from Marvel.

I scream, accidentally scaring my dog.
