Chapter 10: Fears and Lies

The whole room was filled with nothing but silence. The moment Emileigh opened the door, shock was on her face. Takeo's face was with the same expression.

"E-Emileigh...?" Takeo gasped. Emileigh's eyes started to form tears as she frowned.

"TAKEO!!" Emileigh ran at him as she hugged him as Takeo gasped in surprise. Everyone else in the room was confused by Emileigh's actions. Burn on the other hand was suspicious, but he decided not to ruin the moment...for now.

Emileigh started to cry on his shoulder as Takeo his stood there, not knowing how to eact.

"It's Takeo. T-Takeo's here.." She cried as she refused to let go of him. "I-I...I thought you were dead!!"

Takeo's face formed a small smile as he slowly hugged her back.

"I promised I would find you again.." He said to her. "I don't break my promises, no matter how long they take to fulfil."

Emileigh pulled away from him as she wiped her tears.

"I'm so happy you're alive.." She smiled. She then took notice of his appearance. "And you've changed a lot!"

"I can't say the same for you." Takeo chuckled. "You haven't changed at all."

"Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?" She smirked a little.

"More like, in between." Takeo remarked.

"Hey!" Emileigh pouted as she playfully shoved him and Takeo laughed.

"Ah, but still. It's great to see you again, Emileigh." Takeo smiled.

"Same goes to you too, Takeo!" Emileigh smiled back.

"Hate to break up the bonding moment, but what's going on? And how do you know Emileigh?" Burn asked suspiciously. Takeo started to glare at him.

*End of Music*

Emileigh noticed Burn, Kurayami, and Yami were there, and for that she was relieved. But her most concern was the tension rising in the room. So she began to ask about what happened.

"Uh, Takeo? Did something happen between you and Burn?" She asked concerned, yet confused.

"You could say that." Takeo answered.

"I'm mostly curious about how you and...Takeo know each other, Em." Sora but into the conversation, trying to drop the subject a little. "Was that the friend you told me about?"

Emileigh froze as she started to blush with embarrassment.

"Y-You heard me?" She asked surprised.

"Every word." Sora smirked as he put his hands on his hips. "Even when I was out, I could still hear about what was going on around me."

"So, you said things about me?" Takeo smirked a little. Emileigh laughed nervously as she scratched the back of her neck nervously.

"Yeah, but they were good things!" She hastily added. "But anyway, Me and Takeo met each other a long time ago. Which was...before I went to the Realm of Darkness."
