Chapter 5: Power Within

"So, they're called the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee?" Yami asked as she was walking beside Lea in the Borough of Radiant Garden.

"Yep, they've been around for a long time." He answered as he had his hands in his pockets. "In fact, they're all friends of Sora."

"Sora...?" Yami asked. That name sounded familiar to her, but she didn't know why.

"He's a friend of mine." He said. "He's done a lot of good for this world. For every world to be exact."

"What's he like?" Yami asked curiously.

"You really think I should tell you?" Lea smirked. "If anything, you should find out for yourself."

"Why can't you tell me?" Yami asked.

"Let's just say, Sora's a lot of things." Lea snickered as he walked a little ahead of Yami. She noticed and she jogged a little, catching up to him.

They both finally made it to this little house as Yami looked around.

"Well, here it is." Lea said as he pointed at the house.

"Will these people really help me?" She asked.

"Just give tell them about your friends, and they'll do all the work." He said as he started to walk away.

"Wait! You're not coming along?" She asked.

"Eh, I have another thing to take care of." He said as he stopped walking. He turned his head towards Yami as he smirked. "But this isn't the end of my story. Get that memorized in your head."

Yami smiled as she nodded her head.

"Thank you, Lea." She said as he waved her goodbye as he walked away as Yami waved back at him. She then walked to the door of the house as she took a deep breath and sighed. She knocked on the door and waited patiently for someone to answer.

No more than five seconds, a girl opened the door as she looked happy. She was wearing gray and black as she had a headband around her forehead, with black hair.

"Um...hi." Yami nervously said.

"Hey there!" She said. "Are you new around here? 'Cause I've never seen you around here before."

"I'm actually kind of lost." She said. "I was hoping you and the committee could help me out."

"Well, that's not a problem for us!" She said confidently. "Come inside, and we'll help you out!"

"Thank you." Yami said as she followed the girl inside.

When she stepped in, she looked around and the room was bigger than she anticipated.

"This looks like a comfortable place to live in.." She muttered to herself.

"Hey Squall! We have company!" The girl yelled.

"For the last time Yuffie, it's Leon." Yami looked at the corner of the room, and saw a man leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

He had shoulder length brown hair and he had a short brown jacket with a white tank top on underneath as he had a necklace with what symbolized a lion. He wore a black belt around his waist as one hung off under two other brown belts. He had brown jeans as he had straps on the sides of them. He wore black leather boots under his jeans as he had black gloves with more straps around his wrists. Yami also took notice of the huge scar on his face.

Yami walked over to the man as she was shorter than him by three feet.

"My name is Yami." She introduced herself. "My friend said that you could help me find my friends."
