Destined Hearts

Chapter 42: Confession

Everyone was breathing heavily as they weakly had their keyblades in their hands. No matter how much power they attacked him with, there was still no slowing him down. Sora yelled as he used a blizzaga spell, but Kuro only slapped it away with his hand.

"It's no use.." Riku said as he used his keyblade for support to stand. "Nothing's working."

"We need to try something!" Sienna said as she quickly stood up, but her legs gave up on her, and she fell to her knees. Kuro laughed seeing this.

"How pathetic! You're all the best Destined Hearts, and this is all you can do? I was suppose to keep you all alive. But why do that when I can just end it all here?"

"Kuro, please.." Mayonaka said as she slowly walked towards him, Vanitas was beside her, hanging onto her for support. "This isn't you!"

"We want you back." Vanitas added. "We didn't leave you. You left us! You left us just so you could have more power! Why can't you open your eyes, and see what you're doing, damn it!"

Kuro looked down at his hands for a moment...before he growled.

"My eyes are already open. The reason why I accepted this power...was to make sure everything that was suppose to happen would happen right!"

He raised his fist as darkness radiated from it and everyone got ready to stand their guard, but when the first came down, a beam of darkness shot at it, and he stumbled back as the person landed on their feet in front of everyone.

"Don't make another move!" Takeo glared at him as he had his wings on his back, and had his keyblade out.

"Of course, it had to be you. That darkness of yours is really starting to annoy me. Yours came to you by force, yet you still accept it!"

"Maybe so. But that's not a reason to stop fighting." He said as a small smirk formed on his face. "Besides, who said I was alone with darkness?"

At that moment, Emileigh was running on the sides of the wall as her prosthetic arm was replaced with her neoshadow arm. She was back in the same form she used to fight Takeo. She then jumped off the wall towards Kuro

"Take...this!" She scratched him directly on the chest as he screamed in pain as she landed on the ground. She took her prosthetic arm out, and she put it back on her stump, making her change back into her original form.

"That can't be possible. Darkness inside the Child of Kingdom Hearts...it's unacceptable!"

"I didn't choose to be the child, but hey! It still happened." Emileigh said cockily. "Things might have happened when I lost my memory of who I was
...but the bond I made with the people there still stays the same! And darkness can't tear that apart!"

She took out Fatal Crest and Missing Ache as she charged towards him. Everyone called out to her concerned, but she ignored it. Two Demon Tide Heartless were flying towards her, but she yelled as she hit the both of them out of her way, she jumped up, and she yelled as she stabbed her keyblade into Kuro...but it ended up dragging her into the darkness in him as everyone called her name.
