Chapter 38: Who Am I?

"Do you think Em will be okay?"

"She was alone before I met her, but you never know what could happen. I hope she's alright.."

Takeo and Sienna were both walking in the pathways of the graveyard as they both had their weapons out for protection. It's been several minutes since Emileigh...created those pathways. Then again...this was the place Kingdom Hearts was inherited. He didn't exactly understand it, but he was willing to accept it.

"So, how long have you and her known each other?" Sienna asked curiously.

"Well...we both met in.." He hesitated to say the world name because of the order. But Sienna only smiled.

"I know about the other worlds." He said. "Destiny was the one who told us about them. Of course, we couldn't go to those worlds, because she felt like we needed to feel connected to the universe more. But it was also nice to hear about them, despite the stupid world order."

"Yeah.." Takeo agreed. "Anyway, we both met at Olympus Coliseum. It was when my heart became fractured. I'll put the details aside, but to make that story short...let's just say, I have more dark problems I need to fix."

He put his hand on his chest, and Sienna gasped a little so she figured out what he meant.

"You'll be able to control it. I know you will." She smiled as he looked at her. "If there's one thing Destiny taught me in Ashira, it's to never let go of life. Whatever happens, you'll always find your way through the darkness, and back to the light. Just remember that when we fight Xehanort."

Takeo couldn't help but smile a little as she finished that sentence.

"That sounds like something Em would say." He said as Sienna smiled nervously as she rubbed the back of her head.

"I guess she's rubbed off on me." She said. "Emileigh was the first to make it to Ashira, and even though we rarely talk to each other...she's inspired me a lot, just like Destiny has."

"Yeah...that's something she's good at doing." He said. All of a sudden, they heard a loud scream as the two stopped in their footsteps.

"W-What was that?!" Sienna asked nervously.

"That sounded like Em! Come on!" The two were about to run towards the source of the scream...until Ethan appeared in darkness.

"Going towards the scream will only cost you your life." He spoke in a monotone voice as Takeo and Sienna got into a defensive stance.

"Who are you?" Sienna glared as she reached for her rapier.

"The Child of Kingdom Hearts will only make things worse for the greater good." He said, ignoring the question. "No matter what, she'll only give the worlds despair if she doesn't return to where she's suppose to be."

"..." Takeo took a moment to look at Ethan's appearance. The hair, eyes, skin color...he then remembered that pictured he saw back in Emileigh's room when he was watching over her. He compared him to the photo...and him now.

"You're Emileigh and Burn's father." He stated, and Sienna's eyes widened a little.

"Not anymore." He said. "I can't believe Eraqus even had the guts to give her away to Dianna. She wasn't suppose to be brought here, but he did it anyway."

"That shouldn't matter!" Sienna said as she took a step forward. "Maybe she is the Child of Kingdom Hearts, that doesn't mean she doesn't belong in this world! She chose to be with the people she loves, be with the people she met! Our hearts are connected to hers, and you can't break that connection apart!"
