Destined Hearts

Chapter 27: The Good Or The Bad

Everyone was sitting in the living room back where Fate and the others lived as Emileigh was laying on the couch, still unconscious. Sora was kneeled down beside her as everyone else was sitting on the floors and chairs in the room. So far, the Heartless stopped forming in the town, but there were a few areas that needed to be repaired, but Fate ordered a few townsfolk to help out with the construction, and they didn't argue at all.

Meanwhile, everyone else in the room, started to become concerned about Emileigh's safety.

"How could this happen...?" Sora muttered as he gently held Emileigh's prosthetic hand.

"..." Yami looked at Sora for a moment before staring at everyone else. She then looked down at the floor, before closing her eyes.

"I'm sorry!" She said as everyone looked at her. "We didn't think Xelhmigei would be able to come back alive. We should've told you about her before...but it looks like we were too late for that."

"Well, you can make it up to us by telling us about her now." Fate remarked as he crossed his arms. Yami sighed as she stood up.

"Well, you see...Emileigh knows a lot more about her than I do, but I'll try my best to fill in the blanks." She said.

"We are listening." Kurayami said.

"O-Okay..." Yami sat down on a nearby chair as she had her hands on her knees. "That girl who attacked Emileigh...she didn't have a name before, but now...her name is Xelhmigei. She's Emileigh's heartless."

"What?!" Everyone, except for Sora exclaimed.

"You don't seem surprised." Sekara said to him.

"I kinda suspected as much." He shrugged. "Considering the fact she looks exactly like her, only different features."

"But Xelhmigei said something about...being given a fake name." Kairi said. "Does that mean...?" Yami nodded her head.

"Xelhmigei...is my real name. As I said before, I'm Emileigh's nobody. Her heartless took my name, and Emileigh gave me the name, Yami. Because...the people here don't take kindly to darkness.  So, when someone asked why I look like her...my answer would be, 'Because I'm her twin sister'."

"So, her heartless took your name, and Emileigh gave you a new one so you could keep your heritage a secret." Riku said.

"Yep.." Yami muttered. "Emileigh is extraordinary out of the four of us. She's able to live without her nobody and heartless inside her. It's...impressive." She said.

"So, Sora and Emileigh are cut from the same cloth." Rikh remarked as Sora blushed a little.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about!" He denied as he looked away.

"Sure, you don't." Riku chuckled and Sora let out a cute pout as he crossed his arms.

"What do you mean?" Burn asked.

"Sora did turn into a heartless, but it didn't form into a person. Kairi brought him back, and he and she both have nobodies. Roxas and Namine." Riku said.

"So, someone must've found vessels for them.' Yami thought. However, they heard the door open, and they saw Takeo walked through it as it closed behind him.

"Hey." He said as he sighed as he regained his breath. He looked down at Emileigh as her face looked completely relaxed, as if she was asleep. His hands clenched into fists as he grit his teeth a little.

"So, Xelhmigei took your name, and Emileigh gave you a new one. I didn't think all of this could happen to her." He said.

"You...heard the whole story?" She asked nervously.

"Pretty much." He answered. "But still...it's bad enough we're dealing with the Organization. And considering the fact Xelhmigei made her like this, means she won't go down without a fight."

"The only thing the Organization is good at is just saying things that hurt you." Sora said. "That's all they ever do anyway. But I didn't think she would use something like this to put Em to sleep."

"Speaking of that, Takeo, when exactly did you wake up?" Fate said. Takeo tensed a little as he looked awya for a moment, before he sighed and faced the group.

"I didn't exactly 'wake up'." He said. "The last thing I remember was falling asleep on Emileigh, and the next thing I know, I hear her calling my name. I tried to move, but I couldn't. I couldn't even open my eyes!"

"Was this caused by...sleep paralysis?" Kurayami guessed.

"No...it's different." He said as he crossed his arms. "It felt like I was chained to a wall, and someone left me there. I couldn't move, speak, I couldn't do anything. I don't know how, but...*sigh* Look, I don't know how to explain it, but I know it's important. I just don't know how or why."

"Hmm...this sounds like it could be something serious, or just a one time thing." Mayonaka said. "But for now, our big concern is Emileigh right now."

"What exactly happened while I was gone?" Takeo asked. Sora walked to the table, and he picked up the bag that had all the books about the Destined Hearts. He also took the one Xlehmigei gave him out of his pocket and he looked over them.

"Well, these are the books about the Destined Hearts. And only me and my family could read them. My mom used to read me them when I was little, and she gave me the first one when I was fourteen. But forgot about them until it fell out of my pocket a few days back."

"So, everything we need to know about the Destined Hearts.." Takeo trailed off and Sora nodded his head.

"Are in the pages of these books." He smiled.

"I see...but what about-" Takeo was interrupted as he and everyone else heard a knock on the door.

*End of Music*

"Who could that be?" Sekara asked as Fate stood up, and walked towards the door. He opened it, and he saw a certain blonde haired girl holding a small black puppy in her arms.

"Hey, can I come in, please?" She asked.

"Uh, yeah. Come on." He said as she walked in as the door closed. Takeo recognized the person as the girl smiled a little.

"Sienna?" He asked and she walked into the room.

"Hi Takeo." She smiled.

"You know her Takeo?" Sora asked.

"Yeah, sort of." He said as he looked at him. "We just met a few minutes ago." He then turned his attention back to her.

"But what are you doing here?"

Sienna gestured her hand to tell him to come closer. Takeo leaned into her as she whispered in her ear for a few seconds, until a small gasped escaped him.

"He...He actually did that?" He asked.

"... Yeah, he left. He said he did what he had to do, but he also gave me this." She held Vanitas' wayfinder in her hands and Mayonaka gasped.

"Where did you get that?!" She demanded angrily.

"U-Uh...wait.." She stood in front of Mayonaka as she looked wittle confused.

"Are you...May?" She asked. Mayonaka gasped at that nickname. But regardless, she nodded her head.

"Y-Yeah, but...how did you know?" She asked. Everyone now started to become skeptical.

"Well...my name's Sienna McKay." She introduced herself first. "And...Vanitas told me about you. He helped us out during the fight outside. He helped us fight the heartless."

Everyone, but Takeo, gasped at that sentence as a tear fell from Mayonaka's eye. There was a lot more explaining to do now.
