Well...I'm guessing that name must mean something in the demon world because all the demons seemed to get...nicer? Can I even say that? I don't know but something in the demons demeanor immediately changed. Could it be she is the original Lilith? Adams first wife who, according to legend, grew wings and preyed on pregnant women and small children?

She doesn't seem like that Lilith. Her energy does but doesn't feel as ancient. It would be impossible for the original Lilith to even have a familiar. She was before the time of familiars. Right?

She seemed to glow with this unearthly power, she was a demon so that would explain it, but to me it seemed that she hadn't been connected to anything, she must either be a fairly young demon, or an ancient one. Either way, I was very interested. I was drawn to her, like a moth drawn to a flame. Get close, and you're warm. But if you get too close, you'll get burned.

"Who might you hunters be?" Lilith asked.

"Oh! Hi, I'm Sabrina, a mermaid/hunter hybrid."

"I can tell." At this Sabrina turned a light pink.

Lilith Snow looked at me and said "I guess this one is nameless."

"Oh do excuse my demeanor, I'm Celia." I saw a look of surprise pass, but it was so quick I'm almost sure I imagined it.

Expressionless once more, she said "So that's why you were able to control the elemental disc and morph it."

"That again, it's really not that complicated. It's only level 4. I learned that when I was 5."

"Really? Most of our demons here have yet to master theirs."

"Well, have you?"

"As a matter of fact, I have, also at age 5."

"That's cool!" Sabrina cut in.

"Would you like a demonstration? I'd be glad to give you one if it would please you." Lilith asked.

"Yeah! I would love to see that!" Sabrina said.

I immediately put a protective field around Sabrina. Why? An elemental disc needs a living target. Always. Sabrina seemed to be unaware of that fact. Lilith smiled and with that makes an electric purple elemental disc. She broke it into miniature spikes and shoots it at...the demon whose ass got beaten by me. He coughed up blood.

I felt like my heart had gotten pinched by her spikes. "Had enough, Seth?"

So that was his name.

"Yes, forgive me." He yelled.

"What say you Celia, do you forgive him?" Lilith asked, her purple eyes flashing. I looked away, unable to keep my eyes on her. It was sensory overload.

"Sure, why not? I've had my fun with him, as have you." I answered as nonchalantly as I could.

Why am I acting like this? This behavior is unlike me.

Since we were done with that, we walked away. Lilith was right beside me as we struck up a conversation. I was tense and tried not to do anything that would offend her.

"So, I assume that you were here to choose your familiar." She began.

"Yes, we are. Truly disgusting how the old pairings were made, with demons being forced to be paired to hunters."

"I'm surprised a hunter knows the true history, but yes, I agree." We walked in silence for a minute before she started again, "Since we are on the topic, have you found a familiar yet?"

"I haven't, but I believe Sabrina has." Sabrina's face perked up at the mention of this.

"Oh really? Could you please point me in the direction of your choice?"

Sabrina nodded and pointed at the guy with the silver hair.

"Nico Darkclaw. An excellent choice, he'd make a perfect familiar, and an excellent future husband if you're interested." At this Sabrina turned a bright pink, she couldn't take it anymore and her color showed it.

She eventually calmed down and turned to her normal blue hue. That might be a problem for her and Nico. Or a plus depending on how one looked at it.

Lilith turned towards me "And you? Have you decided on a demon yet?"

"I have." I answered simply.

Do it. It's her. This voice urged.

"Oh really? Who might that be?" By her smile, it seemed she already knew.

I bent my knee, put my hand on my heart, and lowered my head to the floor. Sabrina exclaimed in surprise and confusion, and Lilith (I'm guessing) probably looked surprised at what I was doing.

"Lilith Snow," I paused and materialized my flower, a Helleborus 'Onyx Odyssey'.

I held it up to her and asked "Will you do me the honor of becoming my familiar?"
