"We should leave early!" I said to Lilith during dinner.

We had around two days before the mission actually began. I was getting a bit impatient though.

Although I was loving the time I spent with her this last month. It brought us closer, a lot closer. We mostly trained, adapted to each others fighting styles. I learned Lilith favored to fight from a distance, while I preferred close combat. She told me I was too reckless, and I agreed.

It was more entertaining to fight recklessly.

I also taught Lilith how to cook simple dishes. Eggs, pancakes, omelets, and blueberry scones for breakfast. Variations of different sandwiches for lunch and some pasta dishes for dinner. I favored Italian dishes as they were very heavy and delicious.

"If you would like too." Lilith replied.

"Sure! We can get everything ready at the place we're staying at, and get some information." I explained.

"That is a good idea, that would also give us time to go to the store over there and buy some food."

"We can leave right after dinner." I said as Lilith choked on her food.

"Now?"

"Mhm." I nodded.

She stood up and took my dish.

"Hey! I wasn't done yet!" I protested but she shrugged and threw it away.

"You'll be too full for dessert if you finish it." She said.

"We have dessert? What is it?" I asked, a little confused.

She came up to me and wrapped her arms around my waist

"Lilith? Wha-what are you doing?" I asked.

She kissed my forehead and let go. "That was dessert."

She left me stunned in that kitchen for what seemed like forever. Was I feeling alright?

She was just teasing your obsession with her.

I frowned. Of course she was, she was most likely feeding off my confusion right now. No matter, we need to head to Saint Paul soon anyways.

Though I was very frustrated. Nothing had happened this past month. Nothing. It was a blow to my ego and my heart. I've been behind her heel this past month, hoping for something. She had me wrapped around her finger.

For some reason, I didn't mind it that much.

"Celia? Are you ready to go?" She asked from the living room.

"What? Oh! Just a minute!" I said as I ran past her and into my dresser.

I opened the drawer and quickly hid the rings in my bag. I grabbed Lucifer and put his cover on him. He didn't seem to like that, because he became a lot wider so the sheath wouldn't fit. This sword had a mind of its own, it was like it was alive. After some struggle, I got him covered.

I ran back out and saw the portal all ready for Saint Paul.

"Do we have everything?" I said as I checked our luggage.

"I believe so. Are you ready?" She asked.

I nodded as I grabbed my luggage and walked through the portal. I felt a rush of cold air before materializing in a cabin room. It was so...beautiful. The cabin had leather couches and a small wooden table to eat, and the kitchen was so adorable! It had a couple cupboards and a stove and fridge, it even had a microwave! And all provided by the Academy.
