Finally. My chance to rise in the ranks is now. My uniform is nice and pristine and my hair is somewhat decent (you can't control everything, even with magic).

I looked over at Lilith, standing at my right side. She looked perfect. Not one strand of hair was out of place, and her uniform looked very similar to my own. I sighed, now was the time to focus and not only look the part, I needed to also act the part. But how was a Adamantite class hunter supposed to act ?

Profesional, independent, and most importantly, humble. The voice said.

Thanks.

No problem, I won't bother you anymore now unless you absolutely need it.

More people had begun to arrive. Slowly filling up. I was searching for one face in particular.

"Sabrina! Hey! Over here!" I yelled, when I spotted her and Nico.

She whipped around and her face brightened up as she came running towards me, shoving past the crowd already forming. I began to walk towards her, Lilith right at my heels.

She crushed me "It's so good to see you! Your fight was amazing! And those sword skills too," she laughed and let go.

I smiled. It seemed we were becoming closer than before, and I'm glad that I at least have one friend here at the academy.

She looked at Lilith "You did remarkably well as well. It was amazing, you guys made that fight look easy! Thanks for protecting Celia."

Lilith flushed and nodded. Cute. It seemed Lilith appreciated compliments.

"Lilith, you don't have to be by me all the time, talk to Nico or something."

Her eyes flashed and a smirk appeared on her face before quickly vanishing. She nodded and began to talk to Nico.

"So how was your fight? Was it big? I'm sorry I couldn't be there, I had...other matters to attend too."  I said.

"Well... it was hard, but me and Nico were able to take them out quickly. One broke my leg, but before any more damage could be made, Nico saved me." She changed to a light pink.

"Oh...how is that relationship?" I teased.

She looked at the ceiling "Fine, I suppose. I'm not sure if he has any feelings for me or not, but we know a lot about each other already."

I quirked an eyebrow "Ohh really? You don't know? Mind if I- "

"No! Absolutely not! Don't ask for my sake," She began to ramble about how embarrassed she would be and how it could ruin her chance.

When she was done I finished my thought "I meant if you'd like Lilith to ask, not me. They both are of the same species so it would be easier to get the truth out."

Sabrina mulled over the plan "Would Lilith do that? For me?"

I smiled "Of course! I'll ask right now."

"Don't interrupt them!" She grabbed my hand.

"I'm not going to walk up to them silly," I laughed "I learned a new spell that lets me communicate with my familiar, but it requires a significant amount of mana for any typical hunter."

"But not for you?" Sabrina asked.

I nodded and began the spell. I was immediately connected with Lilith.

Lilith?

Yes Celia? Is something wrong?

No...
