CHAPTER 19: The New Mansion

# CHAPTER 19

Beca and Chloe's riding a car alone.

They were silent the whole trip and Beca couldn't take the silent treatment anymore so she spoke, "Chloe." Chloe didn't speak. "Babe." Chloe still didn't speak. She had a gauze covering her head wound. "Baby, do you want me to pull over so we can make… you know. Another one?"

"I can't believe you're joking about it."

"I'm just cheering you up… babe, it's just 3 months old and still in your tummy, miscarriage is normal in our situation right now. We can still make one."

"So whenever the baby's dying you're going to give me that solution?" Chloe infuriated. She doesn't have the right to get mad to Beca but she can't help it. "It wasn't just a normal miscarriage, they forced it abort it."

"I know." Beca said, trying her best to be sympathetic. "We should wait for the right time to conceive one. For now, we should enjoy ourselves."

"I don't know what to say…"

"Listen, the world is in risk right now. Genesis can make a mistake anytime and make a new virus. It's up to you if you still want to stop them for the humanity's future or we're just going to chill—

"We're going to stop them. You should train me." Chloe said and turned to her. "You should teach me how computer works."

"Chloe, you don't have to. It's Aubrey's work—

"We can't trust Aubrey especially Stacie's there. Let them go and teach me."

"I don't know anything about computer. I'm only using one whenever I'm mixing music." Beca said. "Just stay away from her. She know something I don't know, that's why I'm not letting her go."

Chloe pouted and crossed her arms. "Then just teach me anything."

"I will, I'm just going to think of it first." Beca said and smiled at her. "I brought the McDonald's Emily bought earlier. You should eat them."

Chloe looked at the passenger seat and reached the plastic bag.

She just decided to eat beside Beca even the fries wasn't crunchy and the coke wasn't cold anymore. She keeps on thinking about her becoming child, she's so excited about it. Beca's right. Maybe that's why she's not too excited about their baby is because she's expecting it to happen. They're all in danger and Genesis main plan is to get the fetus out of her and make it as an ingredients of their drug. She shouldn't be excited about it. She shouldn't plan about her pregnancy or even about her child's future just yet.

Well, she always wanted one not because she really want the baby but she's seeing her future with Beca and their son or maybe daughter. She thinks that it's the only way to make her stay in their situation.

Now, anytime she can leave her because she's just a pain in the ass. She's always the bait for her. She's always the reason why Beca's in danger.

"Chloe, please stop crying while eating." Beca said as she held her thigh. Chloe just realized that she sobbing already. "Stop thinking about it for a while."

"I'm just afraid that, you leave me because I'm now just a trouble to you."

"Dude, are you kidding? You're my girlfriend and I'm not complaining about it. It's my duty. It doesn't mean you're not pregnant with me anymore, I will leave you. I can't."

"Really?" Chloe said as she looked at her. Tears streaming down her face.

"I love you and I couldn't deny that I love it when you're worrying about us like that but please, don't." Beca said as she wiped her tears. "If you want, we can pull over and make another one—aw."
