I know that the controversy around this show is crazy, most people don't believe in writing fanfictions back it BUT this story will not follow the shows (first a book) original plot lines. That being said, Jeff and Hannah are still alive. Some of the characters are better people than they are in the show, example would be Monty.
He was not a character in the book and I hate that they ruined what a good character he could have been. This story is all about how I want these characters to be.
And I know the biggest question is probably going to be about Bryce Walker, while writing this I wanted to make him the asshole that he was in the book and in the show. But as this book continued, I decided that I wanted to make the ending lighter and give ALL the characters development. His is kind of a slow development but at the end of the book I think he's a changed character.
I want no hate on any characters and I really wish the show had taken a better turn with less graphics. I realize they had good intentions but not everything is okay to put on a TV screen.
