"okay my family is gone." i said. "so, that means i'm focused strictly on prom."
"just prom?" monty asked.
"well and college of course." i said.
"what about me? your amazing boyfriend who just skipped fifth period to get you chick fil a?"
i looked over at him, "that's kind of iffy."
his jaw dropped as he laughed.
"are you serious?"
"i'm kidding," i smiled and kissed his cheek.
we walked into the cafeteria and sat with our friends.
"oh? so you didn't think we'd want any?" hannah asked.
"he bought it." i said and they all looked at monty.
"i only one girl friend guys, get your own."
"anyway, we were talking about the prom plan. it's only a couple months away." jess said. "we need to start making reservations."
"okay," i said. "girls get ready at my place."
"guys can come to mine." scott said.
"are we doing a limo?" hannah asked.
"i've got that covered." i replied. "where are we doing dinner?"
"olive garden?" jeff suggested.
"i'm okay with that." i shrugged.
everyone else agreed.
"i know my dad is going to take a ton of pictures so you guys can just head over to mine when we're all ready."
"perfect," monty leaned over and kissed my cheek.
"stop," i whined.
"what is with you today?" he laughed. "you just won't let me love you."
"good, we don't want to see that." piper said.
i chuckled and kissed monty.
"happy?" i asked.
"it'll hold me over until we're alone."
"gross!" everyone whined.
i took a fry and stuffed it into monty's mouth.
"shut up, please."
"fine," he said and chewed the fry.
....
"i'm home!" i announced through out the house.
"in the kitchen!" i heard.
i dropped my bag and walked in, seeing my dad sat at the table.
"how was school?"
"it was fine," i shrugged. "the usual."
"i got your text and booked a limo, i also made the reservation for olive garden."
"thank you," i walked over and hugged him from behind.
i looked down at the paper that he was reading. i saw a picture of elliot and his name in bold next to it.
"what is this?" i pulled away and grabbed it.
"your brother's last baseball game was crazy and they were losing but your brother managed to hit a home run in the last ten seconds. they beat out UT austin." he said. "they were ranked like number four overrall. he's being praised in the paper."
