"okay, you have been hacking away at that phone all period." scott laughed, placing his head on my shoulder. "who are you texting?"

"my boyfriend," i joked. 

"oh really?" he asked and reached for my phone. i pulled it out of his reach, smiling at him. 

"that is some personal stuff." i told him. 

i felt my phone be ripped out of my hand. i turned and saw zach reading the messages. 

"damn, little one is sexting." he joked. 

"haha zach," i said and took my phone back. "i'm talking to a girl who is moving here soon. she just wanted a friend." 

"and she chose you?" monty asked. 

"i am a very cool person." 

"you keep thinking that princess." he said. 

the teacher shushed us, going over a project we'd be starting soon. everyone turned their attention to the board. i felt some something hit my arm as i looked over to see monty was the culprite. 

he pointed to scott and made a writing motion with his hand. i raised my eye brow in confusion. 

"his handwriting," he mouthed, "the notes." 

then i realized what he meant but the bell rang. 

"hey scott," i said as we packed up. "do you think i could see your notes, i didn't get them all." 

"yeah, sure." he smiled and handed me the paper. 

monty grabbed my arm, pulling me out of the room and down the hall. 

"is it him?" he asked. 

"i don't know," i replied, "i need to check it next to the notes."
