I was closest to the werewolves, I was in their territory after all, so it made sense to go to them first before the red eyed vampires came back to stop me. The prospect of just walking up to them was frightening, but I had never been the one to dance around the truth. I wasn't going to change now.

Walking through the forest trying to keep myself convinced that this was the right thing to do was the hardest part. There were several times where my mind faultered, but I eventually came back to the same conclusion. I made sure to avoid most of the wolves. I wanted to go deeper into their territory so that they just couldn't turn away once I let myself show.

I was sure as soon as I put myself out in the open the wolves would gather to attack. That was good, that way I wouldn't have to explain myself a billion times to them. I knew Seth would be among them today. I could feel his aura signature out in the woods. I wasn't sure how he would react to seeing me alive, or whatever I was, but I did know that our friendship had been close. He would convince the others to hear me out if only for a little bit.

My biggest fear was that the wolves wouldn't listen and tear me apart like a piece of meat. I knew that couldn't happen---I could keep them back with my telekinesis, super strength, or there was always the option of fleeing---but it didn't keep me from thinking about it. It sent shivers down my spine. I just had to swallow my fear and face them though.

I was sure if I didn't do this that I'd regret it later on when I was in front of this Aro the Volturi members had mentioned.

"She's decided to go to the Quileutes." Alice announced when she finally had made it through the 'static' as she once called it.

"The Quileutes? Why would she want to go there?" Carlisle asked.

"They're rip her apart without knowing why she went to them!" Bella said, thinking of Jacob's temper.

"It's all right, she's already made it there." Edward said, surprising everybody yet again."She touched their minds to calm them down, and they accepted her."

"Wait, her powers can act just like Jasper's?" Carlisle questioned him.

"It seems so." Edward replied.

"Can't you look at someone else's mind?" Bella asked ahead of time.

She knew that if the girl had blocked the mind of the first wolves to see her, the ones that weren't present might be able to see her through the other's minds, letting Edward see their thoughts.

"No, the mind protection spreads to those whose minds are joined." Edward said after testing out his wife's theory.

"Facinating." Carlisle muttered.

"If it wasn't so annoying." Rosalie added in a bitter tone.

"Are we going to get her now?" Alice said, standing up.

"Let me call Billy first." Carlisle replied.

Pixie hair plopped back down on the couch in fustration while the coven leader went to the phone. She knew it was neccessary to contact the wolves first before they came over, but she was getting fustrated at all this waiting.
