Chapter 9: Trying out for soccer

I decided to go and join a soccer club and I talked to the principal and I dropped math class because it was too easy and I picked werewolf class so I can learn about werewolves and the principal asked why I wanted to attend werewolf class if i'm not a werewolf and I told her my parents were werewolves before they disappeared and I wanted to learn about werewolves and she actually found that a good reason so now i'm in werewolf class and I also wanted to try out for soccer so i'm in both the same group as Alina and the same class as her and we actually have split classes and everyone's shocked that i'm the only human in werewolf class but as if i'm going to let that stop me from learning about my half werewolf culture and right now i'm at soccer practice and turns out, this is a LOT like the sport at Ilvermorny we call Quodpot but the British term for it is "Quidditch" where we fly on broomsticks and it's a lot like soccer but different because there's no Bludgers and I have seen Bludgers and trust me when I say this, they HUUURT!!! then out of nowhere everything went cold and Alina was on the team i'm on and then 2 Dementors came flying "AIDAN!" Alina yelled pointing to the Dementors and I looked shocked then I turned to Alina "ALINA GET SOME OF THE WEREWOLVES AND GET EVERYONE OUT OF HERE!" I yelled at her "BUT WHAT ABOUT YOU!?" Alina asked/ yelled at me "I-I'LL TRY TO KEEP THEM AWAY FOR AS LONG AS I CAN!" I yelled and pulled out my wand and she left and literally howled and some werewolves came and helped get everyone back into the school and I ran to the Dementors "WHY YOU'RE HERE I DON'T KNOW, BUT YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THIS SCHOOL!" I yelled at them and thought of my family again and pointed my wand at them "EXPECTO PATRONUM!!!!" I screamed and my Patronus erupted out of the tip of my wand

and they couldn't come closer but my Patronus isn't strong enough to get rid of them and Alina came back with the Auror and she yelled at me to get behind them so I stopped concentrating on my memory and my Patronus went back into my wand and I sprinted to them and the Auror conjured his bear Patronus and got rid of them and I actually made the soccer team because we were doing tryouts and I actually did a tornado kick where you kick the ball in the air and jump and go on your side and spin and kick the ball at the net (Author's Note: It's Called A Bicycle Kick) and I don't really know if I properly made the team but Alina clearly made the team and after everyone came out we had to start the tryouts all over again and when I was up I did the same kick again and I clearly got it at the net and everyone was surprised I can do a kick like that and after a few days I actually made the team and grandpa Derek and grandma Rachel were very proud of me then the window broke and Alina came through "Really Alina?" I asked her looking at her annoyed and she smiled nervously then I pulled out my wand and pointed it at the window and another werewolf broke the window and it was a friend of Alina's "YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" I yelled "Alina grandma and grandpa are going to be SO mad when they see you and your friend broke the windows" I told her "Sorry" she told me with a nervous look on her face then I pointed my wand at the window Alina broke "Reparo!" I exclaimed and the shards of glass started levitating and putting themselves back together and the window was fixed "You better fix that window your friend broke with the Repairing Charm" I told Alina pointing my wand at the window her friend was at "Way ahead of ya" she told me and pulled out her wand and pointed it at the window "Reparo!" Alina exclaimed but the window wouldn't be completely fixed for some reason "I've never really been good at Reparo" said Alina "Here, use it again and i'll add my magic so we can combine our powers" I told her and she nodded and pointed her wand at the window again "Reparo!" Alina exclaimed but the glass shards just levitated and were struggling to put themselves together "Here i'll help" I told her and pointed my wand at the levitating glass shards and grandma and grandpa came and saw we were trying to fix the broken window "You two better fix that or you two are grounded for a week" grandma Rachel told us "I didn't do anything, Alina and her friend did it, i'm just helping Alina fix the window" I told her then I turned back to the window "Reparo!" I exclaimed and I combined my magic with Alina's and we fixed the window "Thanks for the help" Alina told me "You really need to work on your Reparo spells" I told her "I know, i've never been good at that spell" Alina told me "How are you so good at spells when I have a lot of trouble with some?" Alina asked me "I don't really know, I always found myself not good at some spells either sis" I replied "If you want, I could help you with your spell casting" I told Alina "That would be very appreciated" Alina replied "What spells are you good at?" I asked "I'm pretty good at offensive and defensive spells but mainly healing magic" Alina replied "What kind of spells are you good at?" Alina asked me "I'm really good at offensive and defensive spells too, i'm pretty good at charms but i'm also mainly good at healing magic too" I replied "How is it that both of us are mainly good at healing magic?" I asked Alina "I have no clue and I even wondered the same thing" Alina replied and grandma Rachel told us about how our mom had healing magic before she disappeared with dad and she thinks me and Alina inherited her really good skills in healing.
