Chapter 65: Losing someone very important

- Aidan's Prov
So we got out of the French Ministry of Magic and we got out of there by the Zouwu and we were in a cemetery and it was nighttime and I got off the Zouwu's back but then it grabbed me and wouldn't at all stop hugging me and I was laughing from how adorable it was and after hours we finally found where this guy is and he has an underground base with at least hundreds of followers that are dark wizards and witches like him and I was pretty worried that this might be our last stand and the guy that we're after came and wants to continue what his father never got to finish and that is to take over the mortal world so witches and wizards can rule the world and there's a reason why magic is supposed to be kept secret because of the great wizard war between wizards and witches against No-Maj's and that war ended a thousand years ago but this son of Grindelwald wants to start that war again and take over the world of No-Maj's but we won't allow that to happen because we're gonna stop him and the Aurors Are here for backup and one that was the jumpy one killed a follower because she pointed her wand at him and he panicked and that's when the battle started and all the followers of this man Disapparated and now it was just us against him and somehow mom and dad are here and I don't even know how but then I saw mom holding one of my spellbooks and I realized she must've learned how to Apparate "MOM!? DAD!?" I asked/yelled very confused and they ran to us and the Aurors were told to take the guy since his followers all Disapparated and this guy raised his wand "Protego Diabolica!" he exclaimed and pointed his wand at the floor and walked in circles and blue fire came out of nowhere around him so we couldn't get to him and lots of the Aurors tried getting to him but ended up getting disintegrated by the blue fire and mom pulled her wand out and was about to try something "MOM NO! STAY BEHIND US!" I yelled at her and dad "Mister Lycan" the guy called to me and I turned to him same with my sister "Do you really think you stand a chance against me?" he asked me and flicked his wand at me sending the fire at me and Alina and we were knocked down and so were our parents and the fire was about to kill us but Alina and I pointed our wands at it "PROTEGO!" I yelled "PROTEGO!" Alina yelled at the same time as me and we combined our magic and conjured up a shield and it's the strongest shield we could conjure up, then the fire started attacking our shield we conjured up and I held my wand with two hands and I was struggling because i've never been through something like this before but Alina was still holding her wand with one hand and our wands were vibrating and mine was vibrating violently that I had to hold it with two hands and I just realized from what I read about wandlore and about Horned Serpent horns and Alina's wand core and mine are the exact same because they came from the same Horned Serpent which means...our wands are twins which means when we combine our magic, we're almost unbeatable!!! "GRINDELWALD!" a familiar voice yelled at him "STOP!" the voice demanded and he stopped and we put our shield down and we turned to the voice and we saw Rose was yelling at him to stop and he was trying to manipulate Rose into becoming his follower "ROSE!" I yelled trying to get to her but was being blocked out by the fire and I was fighting it violently trying to save Rose before it's too late and Rose turned to me and Alina since she was trying to help me get to her faster and dad was behind us and Rose turned to us "Do everything you can to stop him" she told us and the guy walked back to where he was after giving Rose a choice to join him or die and she pulled her wand out

and turned to us again "Aidan" she called to me "I will never forget how you were always a great friend" she told us and she raised her wand "Stupefy!" Rose exclaimed flicking her wand at this guy and he blocked her spell and she pointed her wand at a follower of his holding something "Depulso!" Rose exclaimed and she hit her with the Pushing Charm and whatever was in her arms fell and Rose pointed her wand at it "Reducto!" Rose exclaimed and she destroyed whatever it was and chaos broke loose and more blue fire was everywhere and Rose turned to us "RUN!! RUN!!" Rose screamed at us and she pointed her wand at the guy we're after and he casted a spell at her and the fire started killing her "ROSE NOOOOO!!!!!!!" I screamed trying to get to her to save her but I was too late and she was gone because the fire killed her and I had so many tears streaming down my face and I was trying to get to where she was but Alina and dad held me back "AIDAN THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO!" dad yelled at me "WE TRIED BUT WE WEREN'T FAST ENOUGH!" Alina yelled at me and Alina grabbed me, mom and dad and Disapparated out of there and so did the remaining Aurors and the fire bursted out to the graveyard and I didn't know what to do but then Lucinda came but dad was still there for some reason and I don't know why and was about to die from the fire but not on my watch and I already lost Rose I am not loosing anyone from my family and I got beside him and pointed my wand at the fire creature "FINITE!" I yelled and the spell bursted out of my wand and hit the creature but it only knocked it back and I grabbed dad and pulled him to follow me and Lucinda came to us "GATHER IN A CIRCLE AND POINT YOUR WANDS TO THE EARTH!" Lucinda told us "OUR COMBINED POWERS WILL DEFEAT THESE THINGS!" she told us so Alina and I ran to one side and the remaining Aurors did the same forming a circle "THIS IS FOR ROSE!" I yelled and Alina and I held our wands like they were knives "FINITE!!!!!!!!" Alina and I screamed at the exact same time stabbing our wands into the ground and orange balls of light appeared on the tips of our wands and when we stabbed our wands in the ground very bright glowing orange cracks came out of the ground and the Aurors did the same and regular looking fire came out of the cracks and we did everything we could and got all the blue fire creatures back where they came from and that really drained a lot of my magic but not that much to Alina seeing as I still haven't mastered all my magic but I still can't believe Rose did that and I was trying not to cry but mom, dad and Alina we're staring at me concerned and I walked up to them and hugged them while crying because Rose was my best friend and now she's dead and Zack was right all along about me being able to sense when souls that belong to people I care about leave this realm into the Realm of the Departed because I could sense Rose's soul leaving and mom, dad and Alina were trying to calm me down and Marcus was here and I went up to him and hugged him and he hugged me tightly but not too tight and Jessica was with them and she hugged me too and I guess the new cycle of half werewolf Lycans runs in the family now and I went up to Alina "Aidan, this is where you have to pick a side" she told me "I'm sorry Alina" I told her "But I don't do sides" I told her and she was shocked that i'm neither with or against Grindelwalds' son's side and we left because we failed the assignment the Ministry gave Alina and I was basically her backup and I will never forget Rose's sacrifice and I will never forget my best friend Rose Smith.
