Chapter 69: The new Auror but not being taught properly in magic

So we didn't get a new Auror yet but it's the summer now and we're on summer vacation and it's the end of July and it's my fourteenth birthday and aunt Kaitlyn, uncle Travis, grandma Silvana, grandpa Eric, aunt Melissa and all of mom and dad's friends and obviously grandpa Derek and grandma Rachel were here at the house celebrating my birthday and I was actually surprised that so many people came and after cake everyone handed me the presents they all got me and I really liked all of them and I got a present from my mentors and I opened it and it was a brand new ninja suit and a brand new motorcycle

and I was very shocked that they actually got me a new suit and a motorcycle and I do know how to drive it and a jet and a car and in case I can conjure it up a dragon and I thanked everyone for all the gifts and after a while everyone left and wished me a happy birthday and at the end of summer I was in my Sophomore Year at high school and Alina is in her Junior Year and when we got to our magic training sessions we got a new Auror and she didn't seem pretty friendly and we were sitting in the desks and apparently she didn't want us to have the text books we bought since Alina's going into her seventh year of Ilvermorny and that's her graduation year and apparently the new Auror didn't want us to use the proper text books we bought instead we were given books about using magic risk-free but I don't understand what the point of that is "So is there nothing in this book about casting and using defensive spells?" Alina asked her "Casting and using spells?" our new Auror trainer asked her and she laughed a little "I don't see why you would even need to cast or use spells in my classroom, Ms. Lycan" she told Alina "Wait, so, we're not gonna cast any new spell you teach us?" Hunter asked her "You learn about magic and casting spells in a secure risk-free way, Mr. Valkrum" she told us "But, what any kind of use is that?" I asked her "If we might get attacked, then it's not gonna be risk-free, and we need to actually cast the spells so we know if we can do it" I told her "Any wizards or witches like us will raise their hands when they speak in my classes Mr. Lycan" she told us and we're literally the only wizards like her from the Wizarding World and this Auror is supposed to be teaching us how to cast spells and observe us to see if our magic is strong enough to cast them and learn as much as our standard levels of magic can because technically this class is a split class because i'm the youngest because Hunter's a year and a half older than me and Alina's three and a half years older than me "But, how's any of that supposed to prepare us for whatever is out there?" I asked her "There is nothing out there Mr. Lycan" she told me and i've gotten used to being called what people call grandpa and she shrugged "Who would you imagine would want to attack young children, let alone, teenagers, like yourselves?" she asked me "Oh, I don't know, maybe the monster who captured me and Alina's mom and dad?" I suggested because I need to learn every spell I can so when i'm ready I can go and try to find them and save them and everyone went silent "Let me make this, quite simple" she told us "Why would the man who kidnapped Aaron Lycan and Aphmau Shalashaska-Lycan come back and capture their children?" she asked us "Because we're Elemental Masters and i'm a Realm Guardian, the very last one alive" I told her "This is a lie" she told us "ITS NOT A LIE!" I yelled at her as I stood up "ME AND ALINA'S PARENTS GAVE UP THEMSELVES TO SAVE US SO WE COULD GET AWAY FROM WHOEVER WAS TRYING TO KIDNAP ME WHEN I WAS A ONE YEAR OLD BABY!" I yelled at her "WE SAW OUR FUTURE SELVES LAST YEAR, THEY SAW HIM! MY FUTURE SELF KILLED HIM BUT THEY HAD TO STOP US FROM CHANGING THE TIMELINE!" I yelled at her "Detention Mr. Lycan, after school" she told me and I was shocked that the first day back at high school of my very first sophomore year, I get a detention and at the end of the day I went to my detention and she gave me a quill that looked like a blackish green feather and she apparently told me I don't need any ink and when I was writing what she wanted me to do with it I don't know what but the words I wrote were cut into my hand and I don't know what she did to me but my hand hurts like hell and blood was streaming down my hand and it won't stop burning and stinging and I left and went home and grandma Rachel saw what was wrong with my hand and she was so unbelievably shocked that our new Auror did this to me and she told grandpa Derek about it and he was so unbelievably shocked and very angry at what she did to me and they called Lucinda and she came and she had a bowl with a type of essence but it's completely harmless and she told us it'll sooth the wound so I set my hand in it and it actually immediately stopped burning and stinging and felt a lot better and we saw that the wound was already feeling so much better almost as if it never actually happened and this type of essence is something I actually had to study in Potions class in Ilvermorny called Murtlap Essence and it has healing properties but it just soothes the wound of an injury completely but I forgot what can remove the curse cut into my hand but I'm pretty sure it'll wear off in a while but I'm pretty sure it'll leave a scar then grandpa Derek left and called the Auror and he yelled at her yelling "HOW DARE YOU DO SUCH A HORRIBLE THING TO MY GRANDSON!?" and "IF I EVER SEE YOU DOING THAT TO HIM OR MY GRANDDAUGHTER I SWEAR TO IRENE I WILL COME OVER THERE AND MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HURT MY GRANDCHILDREN AGAIN!" and I actually never saw him this angry before and after my hand was completely healed we thanked Lucinda for healing me and she gave us a bottle filled with the Murtlap Essence she used to help me and we thanked her again for helping my hand heal and I do not want to mess with her anymore but like I said i'm not afraid of her and i'm not afraid of anything so she doesn't scare me, nothing scares me.
