Chapter 3: Learning how to duel

After I had my Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson I went to the training grounds and I found Alina there and she was wearing her uniform without her cloak on

and she smiled at me "Hey little bro" she told me "Hey big sis" I replied and she walked up to me "Are you ready?" Alina asked me "You bet I am" I replied and she smiled and stood next to me "The first spell i'm going to try to teach you is a pretty basic and useful spell for duelling" Alina told me "Okay" I replied "The spell i'm going to try to teach is called the Disarming Charm: Expelliarmus" Alina told me "I'm pretty good at that spell so if you learn it then it should prove useful to you" Alina told me "Alright, how do I cast it?" I asked her and she started showing me how to cast it and when I got it right Alina set up a creepy looking practice dummy that looked like a Scourer but i've never met one before but Alina told me how dangerous they are so I probably wouldn't want to meet one because they were a band of wizarding mercenaries in the 17th century and Alina enchanted it and it had a fake wand in its hand and it raised the fake wand in its hand "Time to see if you can cast it" Alina told me "Right now?" I asked and Alina nodded "Okay" I said getting in the stance Alina taught me and pointed my wand at the practice dummy then I raised my wand "Expelliarmus!" I exclaimed swishing and flicking my wand at the dummy and a flash of light bursted out of the tip of my wand and hit the dummy's hand and the fake wand in its hand flew away and Alina started clapping for me "NICE ONE AIDAN!" Alina yelled "Thanks sis" I replied and she taught me the Knockback Jinx: Flipendo and she taught me a little bit of new spells I haven't learned yet and she taught me how to brew Wiggenweld Potion and the healing spell she knows that she used when she healed me and I actually have quite a skill with healing magic like Alina and now i'm gonna learn how to duel and Alina told me she's going to be my opponent so I can learn to duel and Alina went across from me and pointed her wand at me so I got in the same stance as her and I pointed my wand at her "Go easy on me, I don't know as much good spells like you" I told Alina "I know, and i'll go easy on you" Alina told me then she raised her wand "Flipendo!" Alina exclaimed flicking her wand at me and I dodged it and pointed my wand at her "Rictusempra!" I exclaimed flicking my wand at her and a silverish flash of light bursted out of the tip of my wand and hit Alina and she started laughing uncontrollably then turned to me "How-HA HA!-did you-HA HA-learn the-HA HA-Tickling Charm?" Alina asked me while laughing from the Tickling Charm I hit her with "After that Horned Serpent student attacked me Jason and Rose helped me learn a duelling spell and I learned the Tickling Charm: Rictusempra" I told her then she pointed her wand at herself "Finite Incantatem!" Alina exclaimed and the Tickling Charm I put her under almost immediately wore off and she pointed her wand at me "Depulso!" Alina exclaimed flicking her wand at me and I did a side flip dodging it because I don't know how to block spells and my Elemental Shields are weak and whenever I use an Elemental Shield it shatters whenever it gets hit by something and I landed on my feet and Alina raised her wand again "Flipend-" she was about to cast another Knockback Jinx at me and I actually visualized her as the Horned Serpent student who attacked me and was going to use another Knockback Jinx on me then I raised my wand "Expelliarmus!" I exclaimed flicking my wand at Alina and I disarmed her and I saw it was Alina again instead of that student who attacked me and Alina's wand flew out of her hand and flew to me and I caught it and she looked shocked at how fast I casted that spell "How in Irene's name did you cast that so fast?" Alina asked me "When you've been training to become a ninja for a few years you become a lot more faster" I replied and I walked up to her and gave her her wand back and hugged her "Thanks for teaching me how to duel Alina, you're the best" I told her and she hugged back "Well I wasn't going to just stand watching my little brother get bullied" Alina replied and after we left the training grounds we went to our common rooms and went to bed because it was curfew.
