Chapter 38: Exploring more of Starlight which MAY be a mistake

- Aidan's Prov
So I was looking through my laptop I got for Christmas when dad and Alina were gone for a year and I was looking through things of Starlight and saw a forest here and I told Alina and Hunter about it and we were right now at the forest and we have a bit of our stuff and we most certainly have our wands because we can't do wandless magic so we always bring our wands everywhere we go and basically i'm wearing what dad's wearing but I have a green vest same with Hunter and black swim trunks but anyway we were walking around and we actually found mom and dad with dad's pack and they don't know Alina, Hunter and I and of course we had to go through the being from the future thing again and we went to the cave that was at the springs and it was a bit dark "Oh Irene, I swear if we walk into a Boggart, i'm gonna lose it" I told them and we drew our wands just in case and also i'm not afraid of Dementors anymore so I have no clue what my Boggart will be so we basically are in for a surprise and dad and his pack followed us and dad helped mom with swimming and yep we were right a Boggart is right in front of us and I was in front of it and it for some reason turned into Ein "You gotta be kidding me" I said out loud and dad had his eyes turn red and I looked shocked and I closed my eyes "DAD, CALM DOWN!" I yelled at dad and he stared at me like he thought I was crazy "IT'S EIN!" dad yelled "IT'S NOT REALLY HIM!" I yelled "ITS JUST A BOGGART!" I yelled at him and they stared at me confused except for Alina and Hunter since we know how to fight Boggarts "What's a Boggart?" mom asked "Dad, calm down now" I told him and I showed him his reflection and he looked shocked and closed his eyes and eventually calmed down and his eyes turned back to black "Boggarts are shape-shifters" Hunter told them "They take the form of what people fear the most" Alina told them "They like to dwell in dark places like, closed trunks or a dark closet, and they know what your worst fear is by technically reading their victims' minds and that what makes them so terrifying" I explained more "And that's not my Boggart" said Alina "Yeah, it's not mine either" said Hunter then everyone turned to me "What Adrian fears above everything else is..?" Alina started then I slowly turned to her "E-Ein, because I now know exactly how dangerous our half-uncle is" I replied then I turned back to the Boggart pretending to be Ein which is apparently my Boggart and I pointed my wand at it "We know a spell to fight them" I told them then Alina stood next to me "Just like our training sessions Adrian, remember, no matter what, it can't hurt you, go for it" said Alina and I pictured something in my head that I find funny then I slightly raised my wand "Riddikulus!" I exclaimed while flicking my wand at it and a flash of light bursted out of my wand and hit the Boggart pretending to be Ein and the Boggart changed and we all actually laughed and it exploded and we explained what spell I used to get rid of the Boggart and we told them it's called the Boggart Banishing Charm and we continued to go through the cave and we were actually on a cliff and boy howdy was the view beautiful and after a while and don't even bother asking why but we ended up joining mom, dad and dad's pack in the springs and I was in the shallow end because I can't swim so i'm good and Alina is with mom and dad with Hunter and I very VERY slightly feel jealous because I can't swim but they can and I was talking to myself when dad came up behind me and actually scared me a little "OH MY IRENE!" I yelled as I turned around and actually almost punched dad until Alina saw and used her water power to counter my punch and I was shocked that I almost punched my dad and I apologized to him and he understood that he scared me a little and he complemented me about having great reflexes and I thanked him and I told him Master Lloyd helped me get great at having amazing reflexes but I immediately realized that spending the years of my training being with Master Kai I may have accidentally picked up his personality of being hot-headed because when it comes to my family or friends being bullied or something I almost immediately get angry and in our timeline I actually have been taking classes in controlling my anger but anyway dad asked why I wasn't enjoying the water and I was a bit embarrassed to answer "It's a bit embarrassing" I told him "Hey, it's okay Aidan, you can tell me" he told me reassuringly and I sighed and signalled him to come closer so I can tell him by whispering it in his ear and he got one of his wolf ears to my mouth so I can whisper in his ear "I can't swim" I whispered and he was pretty shocked at what I told him and he decided to try to teach me how to swim and that's gonna be a bit embarrassing because i'm fourteen years old and now i'm gonna learn how to swim as a teenager and he told mom about it and she told me about her not being able to swim either and she told me dad taught her how so dad would be happy to teach me so she gave me the confidence I need and now I have more stuff to learn one, being a ninja two, learning more spells and now three, learning how to swim so just great but at least I won't nearly drown anymore.
