Chapter 44: Apparently being followed and meeting someone

So right now i'm walking back to the house because I got some more sunscreen because ya never knew if you need another one as a spare and I don't know why but i'm getting this really weird feeling that i'm being watched and being followed and I looked behind me and I actually was being followed so I know a perfect plan to get rid of the creep following me and I ran to an alley and I pulled my wand out and the guy was still following me and I pointed my wand at him "Ventus" I said and a wave of wind bursted out of my wand and a huge blast of wind hit the guy following me and he was trying to fight it but I would just love to see him try then I felt someone tap my left shoulder and I gasped a little and pointed my wand at the direction of the tapping on my left shoulder and I just saw a glove that had no one wearing it but it acted as if someone was and it pointed to a rooftop and then offered it for me to grab "I can't Apparate yet" I said out loud and the glove acted as if it heard me and acted like it wanted me to hold it like someone was offering to help me up and I hesitantly grabbed it and I actually Disapparated "WHAO!" I screamed and I Apparated and I didn't even get Splinched or threw up and I looked at my hand and the glove pulled itself off me and I followed it to see a man looking around Starlight and he turned around facing me and smiled at me and I do not know who he is at all and I looked at him very confused "Hello Mr. Lycan" he greeted "Hi?" I replied more like asked "I'm sorry, do I know you?" I asked him "No" he replied and continued looking around Starlight "I'm a teacher at a different wizard school" he told me "Really?" I asked and he nodded and turned back to me "And I know you, your cousin and your sister used to attend Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" he told me and that's when I was about to draw my wand "Okay, i'll give you three seconds to tell me who you are and how do you know me, my cousin and my sister" I told him threateningly "If you're a threat I will personally make sure you don't go anywhere near my family" I told him pulling out my wand and pointed it at him and he put his arms up in the air for surrender "I can assure you, I am no threat" he told me "I am the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" he told me and I used my Elemental Power of the Mind on him and looked through his memories and he's telling the truth and I lowered my wand "Sorry...professor" I apologized "Oh, you don't have to call me professor" he told me and it's actually pretty weird meeting a teacher from a different wizard school that I don't even know and he has a British accent "I've been watching you and your actions for some time now Mr. Lycan" he told me "You mean you've basically been stalking me" I replied "Only to keep an eye on you" he replied "I don't need people keeping an eye on me, I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself" I told him "You seemed to be nervous when I helped you Apparate up here" he told me "How did you help me Apparate?" I asked him "You're 14 years old, you're still not strong enough to Apparate" he told me "Yeah I know, but I mean how did you help me Apparate?" I asked him again and he explained how I Apparated up here and apparently he can channel his mana (that's another name for magic) and temporarily pass it onto others so he temporarily passed on his magic to me to help me Apparate but I can't Apparate anymore and he told me Hunter, Alina and I have to hurry if we're gonna find the person who took mom and dad away from me and my sister "We're trying" I told him "But finding the person is a LOT harder than it looks" I told him and that's actually true we have been looking everywhere but we can't find the person who changed me and Alina's lives then the Hogwarts professor pulled out a card from his sleeve and showed it to me "What's that?" I asked him "A clue" he replied "To finding the man who captured your parents" he explained and gave it to me "What is it exactly?" I asked wanting to know what this card is "A location address" he replied "A safe house, in Paris" he told me "How in Irene's name am I supposed to get to Paris when it's halfway around the world?" I asked him shocked "Since Apparation can't take you that far because you can only go a few miles away but not that far" he started and gave me a bucket that was constantly shaking and I was concerned a bit "You'll need the next best thing" he told me "Travelling by Portkey" he told me and I was really confused now and he was about to Disapparate "Wait" I told him and he stopped "What in the name of Irene is a Portkey?" I asked him because I have no idea what a Portkey is and he explained to me what it is and told me how to cast the spell to turn an object into a Portkey and he Disapparated "Oh great" I said sarcastically and I used my Elemental Powers to get down and I hid the Portkey and I got Alina and Hunter and I explained to them everything the man told me and he is a wizard but I don't think he's a professor because he was pretty shifty and shady and I told them i'm going to Paris to see if he's right and Alina and Hunter asked me if I ever thought it through like what if it's a trap and the guy's just baiting me into it "Either way, i'm going and i'm going to save mom and dad in our timeline" I told them as I got my stuff and made sure I got everything I need and I left a piece of paper on the table in the kitchen saying everything what I learned and how i'm going to check it out because I need to save mom and dad and I turned to Alina and Hunter before I stepped into the bucket to go to Paris "Are you two with me or not?" I asked them and they thought it through and they grabbed my hand and agreed to go and I also put in the piece of paper that Alina and Hunter might come and we don't know if we'll come back and I stepped into the bucket and I was basically pulled in it and so was Alina and Hunter and after a while we finally made it to Paris.
