Chapter 40: Finding out why we were attacked

So after we healed the guy that attacked us and I clearly didn't stand a chance against him when he used the Expulso Curse I was alone with the guy and I was questioning him and he can't remember what happened and the last thing he remembers is heading to his dorm and turns out he's a student from Ilvermorny and I feel like I know him but then again I don't and said that he only remembers walking to his common room but then everything went black and now he's here and I was wondering what could have caused him to loose his memory and I remembered that I read about the three Unforgivable Curses and I read about the Imperius Curse and it's basically a mind control curse and when it wears off you don't remember what happened after you're hit by it and I stood up "Do you think someone put you under an Imperius Curse?" I asked him and he shrugged "I don't know, maybe?" he asked and I helped him up "But who would use that illegal curse?" he asked "I don't know, but I may have a way to find out" I told him and I explained to him what I have in mind and he was shocked that I can look through peoples memories and I want to look through his memories to see if I can see who Imperiused him and he allowed me to so I used my power of the mind on him and I couldn't see anyone but then right before this guy was going to enter his common room everything turned black and I for no reason was pulled out of his head and I asked him what was that and he told me he accidentally lost focus so I told him to keep his focus and I looked into his mind again and right before everything turned black I used my Elemental Power of Time to freeze everything and I basically got like a third person prospective and I looked around and I saw someone who was behind him and pointing their wand at him and I really feel like i've seen him before but i've never even met him then I memorized his face and I got out of his mind and I told him what I saw and he was pretty shocked but I told him what timeline he's in and he was about to start panicking but I told him I can bring him back home so I opened a time portal and he jumped in and I closed the portal and I left the room we were in and Hunter and Alina were waiting outside "Well?" Hunter asked "What did he tell you?" Alina asked "He's telling the truth" I told them "I looked into his mind and someone used an Imperius Curse on him and sent him here to kill me" I told them "Who would do that?" Alina asked "Right before everything went black I stopped time in there and I saw the person who cursed him" I told them "Really?" Hunter asked "Who is it?" Alina asked "That's the thing" I started "I really feel like I know him but I never even met him" I told them and now we don't have any leads to the person who sent the guy he controlled to kill me and I don't even know why someone wants me dead but whoever they are we're gonna make sure we bring him to justice and then I felt something weird and it immediately bursted out "AH!" I screamed and my eyes started glowing white and I heard Alina and Hunter yelling my name and everywhere was completely white and I saw great grandpa Robert and I walked up to him "Now's not a good time great grandpa, I was nearly assassinated and I need to find out who wants me dead" I told him "I might know who wants to kill you, but you need to let me in your mind because I know you saw who it was" he told me and I sighed and let him read my mind and he was shocked after he got out of my head "Oh no" he said worried "What is it?" I asked "The person who wants you dead..." he was about to finish but stopped "What?" I asked "Who is it?" I asked and he stayed quiet "I KNOW YOU KNOW WHO IT IS!" I yelled at him "JUST SPIT IT OUT DAMN IT!" I yelled and he sighed "The person who wants you dead is a Realm Guardian" he told me and I was shocked because I always thought I was the very last Realm Guardian "How is that possible?" I asked him "I'm the last of the Realm Guardians, there's no more Realm Guardians except for me" I told him "There are different Realm Guardians" he told me "What?" I asked "The light and the dark Realm Guardians" he told me "There's such thing as Dark Realm Guardians?" I asked shocked "Yes" he replied "You and I are Light Realm Guardians" he told me "The one who wants you dead is a Dark Realm Guardian" he told me and I was unbelievably shocked at everything now because I never knew any of this before and now there's Dark and Light Realm Guardians? I don't know how to take all this in "Is that why I really felt like I knew him?" I asked and he shook his head "I know him" he told me "HOW DO YOU KNOW HIM!?" I asked/yelled "I met and fought his great grandfather, his great grandson must have inherited his power like how you inherited my power" he told me "How do you expect me, Hunter and Alina to fight someone who has my powers?" I asked him "He doesn't have your powers" he told me "He has a very dark version of your powers that is like a poison to us Light Realm Guardians" he told me "And let me guess, my power is like a poison to him?" I asked and he nodded "THEN HOW ARE ALINA, HUNTER AND I SUPPOSED TO FIGHT HIM!?" I asked/yelled "Your sister and step cousin can't fight him, only you can" he told me and I was very shocked and now everything turned black and I opened my eyes and I was laying on the couch and everyone was staring at me and were very happy that I was awake and I sat up and after a while I told them everything great grandpa told me and they were very shocked just as much as me "How are we supposed to fight him then?" Alina asked "Yeah, how?" Hunter asked "You two can't fight him" I told them "Then who can?" mom asked scared "Only I can" I told them and I also learned that this Dark Realm Guardian is here in this timeline and is here at Starlight and I learned his location and I don't know how I can beat him because we're both equally matched and now we're gonna have to work out a plan to defeat him and how only I have to fight him.
