Chapter 29: Creating something to help Mom's magic

I just got back from seeing how mom's magic lessons were going and she finally can levitate objects but it just makes her feel very weak so I thought of an idea and I was in my room reading about Apparation but i'm not old or even strong enough to Apparate yet but Alina is and she can Apparate perfectly and you know what sucks? you need to be 17 and have a license to Apparate whenever you want, and I still really miss her and since i'm still Phoenix Drop's ninja defender I actually need a tiny bit of help and Hunter wants to help but he's not an Elemental Master and not even a ninja like Alina and I because now i'm the Realm Ninja and Alina's the new Water Ninja but Hunter doesn't have powers like us he only has magic like ours but anyway I had an idea so I went downstairs and I saw mom and aunt Melissa talking and I walked up to them "Hey mom?" I asked and aunt Melissa turned to me with mom "Oh, hey Aidan" said aunt Melissa "Hey aunt Melissa" I replied "Yeah Aidan?" Aphmau asked "Do you need something?" Aphmau asked again "No, I was just wondering something" I replied "What is it?" mom asked "Can I ask you in private please?" I asked her and I gently grabbed her hand "Could you excuse us for a moment?" I asked aunt Melissa and we went into the kitchen and went into the closet in the kitchen "What did you want to ask?" Aphmau asked "You know how you've been learning how to use magic?" I asked "Yes" she replied "Little spoiler alert, Alina and I inherited your magic" I told her "You already told me that" she replied "Oh, right" I replied "Is that all you wanted to tell me?" Aphmau asked "No" I replied "I actually wanted to ask you a serious question but I need your permission to do it" I told her "What is it?" she asked "I think I know a better way for you to use your magic without draining your energy" I told her "Really?" Aphmau asked "When we were at the lodge, Lucinda forgot her wand" I told her "And you created her one" she told me "You see where i'm going with this?" I asked her and she thought it through "No, actually" she replied "I want to create you your own wand" I told her and she was very shocked to hear me say that "What?" she asked shocked "Like Alina, my wand helps me channel my magic and helps me a lot with casting spells" I told her "If I create you your own wand, I can teach you some healing spells I know" I told her and she thought it through "What do you need to create it?" Aphmau asked "Wood from a specific tree, a core as in unicorn hair, dragon heartstring or a phoenix feather and I need to measure it to your proper length" I told her "Wait, unicorns are real?" she asked "Yep" I replied "My wand's core is a Horned Serpent's horn" I told her "What wood is your wand made out of?" she asked me "Aspen wood" I replied "And the length?" she asked "11 3/4 inches long" I told her "With a reasonably supple flexibility" I told her "How are we going to know what kind of wand is mine?" Aphmau asked "Either A, I create you one or B, we go buy you one from a wand shop" I told her "And the wizarding school Alina, Hunter and I used to attend was called Ilvermorny and it was on top of mount greylock" I told her "I think i'll just let you create me a wand" she told me "Okay, well, i'll have to find the American Ministry of Magic" I told her "And find someone who knows a lot more about wand lore than me" I told her "Ask Lucinda" she told me "Lucinda didn't attend Ilvermorny, so she wouldn't know" I told her and she gave me permission to create her a wand and we left the closet and I used what I remember about wand lore and I think I can find the materials and I left and I said bye to them and I went to go look for the things to create mom a wand and I went to the park and I also wrote down what I need and turns out her wand is made of acacia wood and a unicorn hair and I know where acacia trees are found, they're found in Africa so I used my Elemental Power of Shadow and I somehow got to Africa and I found an acacia tree and I got a branch and I went back to Phoenix Drop and now I gotta find a unicorn and take a piece of its hair so I know only one place that might have unicorns in and it's actually near a different wizard school but i've never been there before but the famous author Newt Scamander was a student there so I went to where I got my wand and I bought a book about the different wizard schools in every country and I found the one that I was looking for and it's called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and it shows a type of picture of it so I used my power of shadow again and I found Hogwarts and it was HUGE like it's a castle and I went into the Forbidden Forest and I ran into quite a few creatures from my copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and I actually know the spells to repel them and now I ran into an Acromantula which is a giant spider and it was about to attack me so I pulled out my wand and pointed it at the Acromantula "Arania Exumai!" I exclaimed and literally 2 seconds later a blue ball of light appeared on the tip of my wand and a huge beam of blue light bursted out of my wand and got rid of the Acromantula and I continued looking around and I FINALLY found a unicorn and I somehow managed to get a piece of hair from it but I did NOT pull it out, I simply hid and used a spell to scare it a little so it runs and goes through a bush but some of its hair was pulled out from how fast it was galloping and I took some of the locks of its hair in vials but not glass ones, plastic ones, I still feel bad for scaring a beautiful creature, at least it didn't know it was me and I'm glad it didn't get hurt, so I went back to Phoenix Drop and now I gotta measure the length and I made it 10 inches long and I used what I remember when I created Lucinda's wand and I finally finished mom's wand then I went back home and I hid her wand behind my back "Hey mom?" I asked "Yeah?" Aphmau asked "I got a gift for you" I told her "And it took me hours to make it" I told her and she walked up to me "What is it?" she asked "Guess" I told her and she guessed it was a book about healing magic "NOPE!" I exclaimed and showed her the wand I created for her

"Here's your wand mom" I told her and she was very shocked that I actually managed to create it and I gave it to her and it actually chose her like when my wand chose me and I told her i'm going to teach her a few other spells besides healing like some defensive spells and offensive spells and now it's gonna be pretty complicated teaching her a bit of what I learned.
