Chapter 72: Trying to fix my wand but needing to replace it

After those Aurors snapped my wand my Ultima Eyes are finally awakened and I can actually control them because Alina taught me how she can control her Ultima Eyes and I got really depressed because I love learning magic and now i'm holding the broken halves and the horn of a Horned Serpent was poking out a little and tiny splinters were what was slightly holding it together and there was only very small splinters holding it and Alina came home from school because I got quite a few days off because of my depression and sadness because now I can't use my magic anymore and Alina doesn't know what happened but she saw my broken wand and was wondering what I did but I explained everything to her and she was disappointed that I did underage magic but it was only self-defence and she went to her room and after a little bit she came back and had a role of tape and she also had her wand in her hand "Let's see if I can fix it" Alina told me and grandma Rachel and grandpa Derek were here and in the kitchen and heard what Alina said and came in and Alina pointed her wand at my broken wand "Reparo!" Alina exclaimed and my wand started levitating and put itself back together and I took it and thought of what to try to cast first "Lumos!" I exclaimed but instead of conjuring a ball of light sparks bursted out of my wand and I had to look away and cover my eyes with my arm and when the sparks stopped I pointed my wand at Alina "Expelliarmus!" I exclaimed again and a very faint ball of light covered Alina's hand and her hand holding her wand moved a little but did nothing then my wand fell apart and was dangerously close to completely breaking in half and Alina sighed "It's beyond repair" Alina told me and handed me the role of tape she had "It's called 'Spello-tape' it'll hold your wand together and might help with spells" she told me and I took the tape and it looks like a role of Sellotape but I actually did see a role of this when I was getting my school supplies from when I was a first year at Ilvermorny and I wrapped the tape on my wand and I looked at how it looks

and I sighed "Go ahead, say it" I told my sister and my grandparents looking upset and they looked confused "I'm so screwed" I told them and I turned to them and Alina sighed "Yeah, pretty much until we get you a new one" she told me and I sighed and took the other end of the tape off and held my wand's handle and I don't know how bad this will be but I guess there's only one way to find out "Try casting a spell" grandpa Derek told me then I thought of what spell to cast and I pointed my wand at grandpa Derek "I'll try a Tickling Charm" I told them then raised my wand "Rictusempra!" I exclaimed flicking my wand at grandpa Derek then the tape holding my wand started glowing brightly silverish white and a spark came out of it and tickled grandpa Derek slightly but it wasn't specifically tickling him, it was more like making him itchy than tickling him then Alina pointed her wand at grandpa "Finite!" Alina exclaimed and used the counter-charm to the Tickling Charm and I sighed "guess my magic's a lot weaker then I thought now" I told them and I looked at my taped up wand and Alina sighed "Here Aidan" she told me and held her wand upside down and handed it to me and I looked at her confused "You can borrow my wand until we get you a new wand" she told me and we were shocked that she's letting me borrow her wand so I was about to take it but I didn't because it's her wand and it chose her so it probably wouldn't work properly for me "It chose you, so it probably won't properly work for me" I told her and she sighed and put her wand away and a day later I was busy practicing the spells I learned and there is no possible way to explain how it they ended up because most of it was so unbelievably effed up and I need a new wand badly but i've had this wand ever since it chose me during my first year at Ilvermorny and according to the wandmaker who created my wand said Aspen wood wands are great for preforming outstanding charmwork so with my wand I was able to preform outstanding charms but now my wand is highly screwed up that i'm pretty sure its gonna collapse on itself soon I just know it so i'm just gonna say that right now and I never even got a hearing for my expulsion which isn't right Alina told me I need a hearing before I get expelled and since I got expelled from Ilvermorny I can't really go back to Phoenix Drop High anymore either because word will rapidly spread about my expulsion from Ilvermorny and so many people will hate me but I kinda have to go to Phoenix Drop High or how else will I get my education but I still have my training in magic for some random reason and that's not right because whenever someone gets expelled from their wizard school they're forbidden from ever learning any further magic but I found out grandpa Derek is paying some other Auror to continue my training in magic and I was still in the same classroom and in the same class time as my sister and Hunter's training sessions and the Auror who made me use that cursed quill was constantly telling the Auror whose  supposed to be training only me to use the book she was making Alina and Hunter use "Adrian Lycan is my student, I can train him however I like" he told her and she backed off and I continued paying attention to the Auror whose training me and told me to show him if I can cast a Stunning Charm at him and I picked up my taped up wand because I put it on my desk and I cleared my throat and pointed my wand at him then I raised my wand "Stupefy!" I exclaimed and the same light that came out from the tape came out again and he was half stunned half not stunned and Alina pointed her wand at the Auror training only me "Rennervate!" Alina exclaimed and she reversed the really screwed up Stunning Charm I casted and I looked at my wand in complete shock and confusion then the Auror training me pointed at my wand "That wand really needs replacing Mr. Lycan" he told me and I looked at him shocked "I can't get a new wand, once I get expelled i'm forbidden from having a wand in the first place" I told him and he told me he's been trying to get the Ministry of Magic to un-expelled and allow me to be in Ilvermorny again but so far he hasn't had much luck and after class I went to my locker to get my stuff because my magic training sessions is my final period and I walked home and I took my wand out of the pocket in the jacket of my school uniform and I sighed and I had half a mind to throw it in the trash because I really need a new one then Alina came after her werewolf club and she told me to follow her and I still remember in my future self's memories that I still remember how to Apparate so I told her about remembering how to Apparate and she can Apparate so I tried Apparating from inside the house to outside and I actually Apparated for the very first time and I didn't get Splinched or anything I Apparated like a pro and we Disapparated to where I got my wand two years ago when I first got it and she actually told me we're gonna get me a new wand and she'll pay for it and we went in and the wandmaker actually remembers my wand and I showed it to him and I explained what happened to it and he actually told me he can't sell me a new wand but Alina made him sell me one by telling him she's the heir to our family business and she can sue him so he decided to sell me a new wand and he got rid of my Aspen wood wand and I tried quite a lot of the wands but apparently none of them worked for me but he showed us a very unique and very powerful wand and he told us he quit trying to sell it because it never chose anyone and it was his last one to choose because I literally tried every wand he created and none of them worked "Alder wood and Phoenix feather, 12 1/2 inches, slightly springy"

he told us "Alder wood is an unyielding wood and for those who are good at magic beyond belief while Phoenix feathers are extremely rare and most hard to win their allegiance" he told us and he handed it to me and I took it and the second I touched it I immediately felt warmth from it and a ray of light shined down on me and a bit of wind came out of no where and the wandmaker was unbelievably shocked that he found the wand that wouldn't work for anyone work for only me and I looked shocked that it chose me and it never chose anyone who tried it and Alina paid for it and we went home and we showed grandpa Derek and grandma Rachel my new wand and they were unbelievably shocked that it never chose anyone else but me and I went in the backyard and I started practicing the spells I know and they all worked perfectly well in fact they all felt so much more powerful than the ones I casted with my old Aspen wood wand and I thanked Alina for helping me get a new wand and the last spell I tried was the Patronus Charm and I conjured up my Wolf Patronus and it was glowing a lot more brighter than it was with my old wand and I immediately started really liking my brand new wand and I can't wait for learning new spells with it.
