Chapter 30: From Student to Teacher and Teaching Mom some spells I learned

- Aphmau's Prov
I can't believe my son from the future created me my own wand but I don't know any spells yet and he promised to teach me some and today is actually my first lesson and I was in the backyard and since no one besides Lucinda and Aidan know i'm learning magic I can't risk showing anyone my magic and Aidan and Alina inherited my magic and they both know so many spells and they're really good at fighting with their magic which is known as duelling and he told me he's going to teach me some duelling spells too so i'll be able to defend myself now and Aidan came with his wand in his hand

- Aidan's Prov
I went to the backyard and mom was already there ready for her lessons and I got a practice dummy and I got a picture of Ein and the dummy is the same ones from Ilvermorny that I used to practice my spell casting and I walked up to mom "Okay, so" I started "You ready?" I asked "Yep" she replied "Okay so, the first spell i'm going to try to teach you is a pretty useful and basic duelling spell" I told her and I also enchanted the dummy "And it's the first duelling spell I learned that Alina taught me when I was a first year at Ilvermorny" I told her and I got in the stance I learned "I'll demonstrate" I told her and I raised my wand and the dummy raised the fake wand in its hand "Expelliarmus!" I exclaimed flicking my wand at it and I disarmed it and she actually wanted to learn that so I began giving her instructions and she got in the same stance as me while pointing her wand at the dummy

(Ignore Harry In The Picture, That's The Stance Adrian Is Teaching His Mother And Alina Taught Adrian The Stance When She Trained Him In Duelling So Adrian's Teaching His Mother What His Sister Taught Him, Alina Trained Adrian How To Duel, So Adrian's Passing On What His Sister Taught Him To Their Mother) "Okay, now to get you a little more confident" I told her and I got rid of the dummy and got a wardrobe that started bouncing around a little like something was trying to get out of it "I found a Boggart in this wardrobe I found in a store and I bought it but I had to magically lock it so the Boggart doesn't escape" I explained "A what??" Mom asked confused "A Boggart" I said "What's a Boggart??" Mom asked very confused "No one knows what it actually looks like" I told her "Boggarts are shape-shifters" I started to explain "When they see one person, they take the form of what that person fears the most, that's what makes them so terrifying because they can turn into something your scared of" I told her "Or someone your scared of" I stated and explained as best as I can on what exactly they can turn into, I don't think they can turn into something like heights though "I learned how to fight them in my third year of Ilvermorny when I was a freshman in high school in my timeline" I explained "Alina and I as well as Hunter were trained for years by an Auror who works at The Ministry of Magic" I explained "He gave us daily lectures, lessons we all learned over time, even somehow always made our classes fun" I stated remembering how hilarious it was when I learned how to fight Boggarts "Now then" I started as I drew my wand "I want you to just practice Expelliarmus on the Boggart" I told her and she looked confused still "Mom" I started "What or who do you fear the most?" I asked and she mumbled something "Pardon?" I asked "Ein" she stated "Now that, I can understand why" I stated "What I want you to do is, when I let that Boggart out, I want you to focus on it turning into Ein" I told her "What??" Mom asked shocked "Don't worry!" I said quickly "It can't hurt you" I told her "It only takes the form of your fear, it's never been documented that it attacks" I told her "And there's a spell to turn them into something different that you find hilarious" I told her "Called 'The Boggart Banishing Charm' it's the only known thing that can fight a Boggart" I told her and she nodded "I'll turn it into something funny but what I want you to do is to make it turn into Ein and when it raises a fake Forever Potion to throw it at you, what I want you to do is hit it with Expelliarmus to disarm it of what its holding" I told her and she nodded then I walked up to her "Mom, I know your scared" I told her "After what he did to you, to us" I said "But you must absolutely not let your fear control you, you must control your fear" I told her and she nodded and got in her stance I taught her "On the count of 3" I told her "Wand at the ready" I stated then she pointed her wand at the wardrobe "1" I started "2" I continued "...3" I finished "Alohomora!" I exclaimed pointing my wand at the wardrobe doorknob and we heard the lock click and the knob moved then I went behind Mom and we saw the door slowly swung open and saw Ein climbing out of it and Mom looked horrified as he was grinning evilly at us and Mom was actually trembling "Concentrate" I whispered in Mom's ear "Face your fear" I told her "Be brave" I told her "Be strong" I tried encouraging her then the Boggart pretending to be Ein raised the potion "Remember the wand movement and incantation" I told her "What's the incantation again?" she asked "Expelliarmus" I replied and she did the wand movement I taught her and she raised her wand "Expelliarmus!" Aphmau exclaimed and the Disarming Charm bursted out of the tip of her wand and the fake Forever Potion flew out of the Boggart's hand "YES!" I yelled then pointed my wand at the Boggart "Riddikulus!" I exclaimed and it turned into something we both found hilarious and we laughed at it and it blew up then I turned to Mom and she was freaking out of unbearable happiness "I DID IT!" Aphmau yelled "YOU DID IT!" I yelled and we hugged "NICE SHOT BY THE WAY!" I yelled "Thanks" she replied smiling "Okay, now" I went on "Next is a pretty useful spell in a witch or wizards arsenal" I told her "It's called the Shield Charm" I told her "It lets you conjure up an invisible shield in front of you and blocks and deflects some spells and things" I told her "When the houses blew up before we moved here, I used that spell to shield us from the things that were blown at us" I told her and she wanted to learn that "Okay" I told her and I taught her what I know about the Shield Charm and how to cast it and I went across from her "Okay, so to make sure you got it, i'm going to cast a Tickling Charm at you, and you use the Shield Charm to block it" I told her "It'll only tickle you" I told her "I know a lot of other duelling spells but the weakest one I know is the Tickling Charm" I told her and she pointed her wand at me as I pointed my wand at her "Ready?" I asked "Yep" she replied and I raised my wand "Rictusempra!" I exclaimed flicking my wand at her and the Tickling Charm bursted out of my wand and mom raised her wand "Protego!" she exclaimed and she did the wand movement by swinging her arm in a huge circle while yelling the incantation as she conjured it up

and my Tickling Charm hit something in front of her and it blocked the Tickling Charm and she was very happy with herself "Nice shield conjuration" I told her "Thanks" she replied "But the Shield Charm can't block dangerously powerful spells like a Killing Curse because it'll shatter the shield and hit you at the same time" I told her "The best way to try to avoid an incredibly powerful attack is to try to dodge it" I told her and I taught her three more duelling spells like Flipendo, Petrificus Totalus and Impedimenta because I learned it in my copy of The Standard Book of Spells by Miranda Goshawk and now i'm gonna teach her the healing spells I learned "Okay, so this one heals minor injuries, and it's the first healing spell Alina taught me" I told her and she followed the instructions I gave her and I got a knife out "Okay, i'm not gonna use this on you if you're wondering" I told her and I put the blade to my hand "When I cut my hand a little I want you to use the Episkey healing spell to heal me" I told her and she thought I was crazy and I told her it's the only way to know if she can heal and she finally agreed and I cut my hand a little "Ow" I winced in pain "Now mom, now" I told her and she raised her wand "Episkey!" she exclaimed and a flash of light bursted out of her wand and hit me and the cut on my hand completely healed and I looked at it shocked "Unbelievable" I told her "What?" she asked worried "YOU COMPLETELY HEALED ME!" I yelled and I showed her where the cut was on my hand and it was completely gone and there wasn't even a scar and I taught her the rest of the healing spells I know and she was a natural at it.
