Chapter 52: The grand welcome and earning the key to the city of Phoenix Drop

The next day there was a city grand welcome for the return of the Realm Ninja and Mark was happy that I stopped being retired from being the Realm Ninja because a ninja is who I am and right now Mark and I are in my room and we know that the grand welcome is being held at the park and I have a T.V in my room and I can watch any show really and I put the news on and we were laying on my bed just relaxing because we really need it then the news immediately switched and we saw that a crane was out of control and no one can shut it down so I turned to Mark and he looked down at me and nodded so I got up and suited up and I flew on my power dragon and I saw the crane destroyed a building window and the floor of the window was breaking and a girl about my age was dangling from the edge and she was unbelievably terrified and I saw the crane destroy the metal bar thing she was holding onto and she started falling about like 62 stories high and she was screaming from how scared she was and I looked shocked because I actually know her and she's a friend of mine and the police chief's daughter so I made my dragon disappear "UH!" I grunted as I dived after her to try to catch her and save her life and I ran on the building wall with my speed and I was right next to her and she was frozen in the air because of how fast i'm going and I jumped off the building and I caught her before the parts of the destroyed building could crush her and I stopped using my speed and I shot an Aero Blade with my Aero Shooters and swung to ground safely and she was holding onto me for dear life and I held onto her as I swung from my Aero Shooters and I ran on the ground when we were close enough and I let go of the rope from my Aero Shooters and I stopped us from moving and I let her go "Are you alright?" I asked her and she looked shocked that I was the one who saved her "Yeah, i'm alright" she replied "Thank you so very much for saving me" she thanked me "Just try to be a lot more careful next time" I told her and I was about to leave until a photographer came up to me "HEY REALM NINJA HOLD ON!" the photographer exclaimed to me "Need a photo" he told me and the girl I saved was named Violet and she ran to her father "Thank Irene your okay" the photographer told her and she ran to her father and the photographer came up to me "Hi, i'm the new guy" he told me "New guy?" I asked and I saw Violet crying while hugging her father and he was trying to calm her down and the photographer started taking pictures of me "For now on, I am going to be taking shots of you in the newspaper" he told me and continued taking pictures of me "So smile. Are you smiling?" he asked me "Just kidding" he told me "Ya know, they got a guy" I told him "Who, Lycan?" he asked me and i'm surprised he doesn't even know i'm the Realm Ninja and everyone knows i'm the Realm Ninja  but the photographer told me i'm a bit of an amateur and I was actually offended by that and he told me what I get wrong as a photographer "Okay" I told him and I ran past him and used my Airjitzu and conjured up my power dragon "BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT ANYMORE, BUDDY!" he called as I flew away and I looked behind me and I saw Violet staring at me in awe and I flew home and put my suit off and they also shut down the crane that made me save Violet and I hung my suit up and I actually have my old suits and the next day the grand welcome was today and I actually am very surprised because not only am I getting a grand welcome but i'm also getting the key to the city and Mark and I were at the park and there was a huge parade and everyone in the city was unbelievably excited for my entrance and after a while Alina came and she told me she heard that I saved the daughter of the police chief and now they're giving me the key to the city and giving me a grand welcome back and mom and dad came and they know what happened and were so proud of me and then the parade stopped and mayor Chad came up to the microphone "People of Phoenix Drop, I am here to give a grand welcome back to a young man who has the bravery of a lion and who has been trained in advanced martial arts who uses what he learned to defend the innocent and helpless" he told the citizens and I looked up at Marcus "I'm gonna be coming in from over there" I told him pointing to a rooftop "Just so you know where to look" I told him and I told my family and they were ready and I looked back up at Marcus "See you soon" he told me and kissed me and I left and I went down an alleyway and I put my suit on and I flew to the roof of the building i'm gonna make my entrance from and the only thing I don't have on yet was my hood and I saw Violet go to the microphone "People of the city of Phoenix Drop, I am here today because I fell 62 stories...and someone caught me" she told the citizens "Someone who never asks for anything in return but for us to try to be a lot more careful" she went on "Someone who doesn't even want us to know anything about him just his name" she told them and continued what she knows about me as a ninja "So I ask you: When you're dropping without a parachute...or your store's being robbed or your house is on fire..." she continued and I fixing up my Aero Shooters so they aren't on crooked "Who is it that breaks your fall...puts out the flames and saves your children?" Violet asked the citizens and Hunter's visiting his family so he isn't here and Alina defends where Falcon Claw University is so i'm the only ninja defender here "THE REALM NINJA!!!" everyone from the city screamed excited and happily "Wow, they really love me" I said amazed and I put my hood on "Then let's here it for your one and only...great defender THE REALM NINJA!" Violet yelled and she pointed to where I was and I jumped off the building and everyone in the city was cheering and freaking out in unbearable excitement and I flew by shooting beams out of my hands and when I was high enough I conjured up my power dragon and when they all saw me I made my dragon disappear and I shot an Aero Blade and swung to the stage and I held my right hand out to give high fives to everyone I swung by "HEY!" I yelled happily "WHAT'S UP!?" I yelled again because I can barely hear anything from all the cheering "HOW HAVE YOU BEEN!?" I asked/yelled again and I swung to the stage and I did a backflip after I let go of the rope from my Aero Shooters and I landed on stand for the letters of saying "THANK YOU REALM NINJA AND WELCOME HOME" "NINJA-GOO!!!" I yelled and I did a one handed handstand and everyone continued cheering "WOO YEAH!" I yelled and I jumped off the stand for the letters and I landed on my feet on the stage in sort of a martial arts stance and I showed off a bit of what Master Lloyd taught me and I saw a lot of kids wearing costumes of my suit and everyone was yelling at Violet to kiss me for saving her life and I called to Marcus through telepathy and I told him i'm gonna do it but it won't mean anything and he took a deep breath because he was a bit jealous that i'm gonna kiss someone else but he's still my boyfriend so this kiss won't mean anything really and he let me do it "Go for it, lay one on me" I told Violet and she was shocked to hear me tell her that "Really?" Violet asked "Sure, they'll love it and the fact that i'm out of retirement" I told her and the citizens kept yelling at both of us to kiss each other and Violet looked nervous "Alright" she told me and rolled up the scarf of my hood concealing my face and she kissed me and everyone was still cheering and when we pulled away from the kiss I gave everyone a thumbs up and I was given the key to the entire city and then I heard police sirens going off and saw a truck from the bank was getting chased by cop cars and I turned to Violet "Go" she told me "Continue being a hero" she told me and I flew away and flew after the truck from the bank and it was really speeding and there's actually a hole in the roof of the truck and I landed in the hole of the truck and I saw someone stealing the money and I saw dirt and rocks completely covering the drivers of this truck and that's what must be causing the truck to speed and when this guy heard me land in here he looked shocked at me "Caught red handed" I told him "Stand down now" I told him and he stood up and walked a little to me "I don't wanna hurt you kid, leave now" he told me "I guess you didn't hear" I told him "I'm the new sheriff here and you're committing a crime in my city" I told him "Okay" he replied and he swung his arm making a fist trying to punch me but I leaned back dodging it "HUH!" I exclaimed while dodging it and he tried hitting me again but missed because I ducked "HEYA!" I yelled as I punched him but then his body was surrounded in stone and I was very shocked because only a Master of Earth can do something like that "No way" I said shocked "You're a Master of Earth?" I asked him shocked and he nodded and surrounded his fist with rocks "Oh boy" I said and he punched me so hard he threw me at the doors of the truck and they broke right off and I was rolling on the ground now "THAT'S IT!" I yelled "NO MORE MR. NICE REALM NINJA!" I yelled and I shot an Aero Blade and I jumped and stood on one of the destroyed doors and I slid on it and now I slid in front of a car and I shot another Aero Blade and pulled myself away from the car so I don't get hit and now I was sliding into a destroyed car and I jumped and landed on that and jumped off the destroyed door basically doing a double jump and I saw him on the roof of the truck and I conjured up power balls and shot them at him and I did quite a bit of damage and he tried hitting me with the bag filled with the money he stole but I did a front flip and I landed past him "AH!" I screamed as I did a sweep the leg technique I learned from Master Lloyd and I knocked him down after I kicked his legs and I shot a net from my Aero Shooters at the bags of money he stole and I pulled them away from him "These don't belong to you, they belong to the bank" I told him and the bags of money fell off the roof and he covered his arm in rocks and made his arm like a mallet hammer and he hit me in the head with it "AH!" I screamed and god did that hurt and I shot another Aero Blade and I swung across the truck and I basically bashed into a bus "AH!" I screamed as I got hurt from the impact and god am I losing this fight and I learned how to combine my powers and I used my metal power and lightning power to make my fingers like magnets and have an electromagnetic force so I can stick to metal and I looked up and this guy hit me again with the stone mallet hammer hand and he broke the wall of the truck now and I was pushed in with it "AH!" I screamed again and I don't know how much longer I can keep this up and I looked at the road and I was very shocked because we were gonna run into a giant green truck "HELP!" one of the people who were attacked yelled and I used my lava arms and grabbed one "AH!" I screamed as I yanked him out and threw him out of the truck and I did the same to the other one and I turned around to where I threw them "ACTIVATE AERO NET!" I yelled and I used my Aero Shooters and a net bursted out of them and it made a giant net in between the two buildings and the people who were in this truck and attacked were caught in it but then this truck ran into the truck it was speeding into "AHH!" I screamed and I conjured up my Elemental Shield and I was rolling from the truck and when it stopped I was very dizzy and I crawled out of the truck "Whoa" I said as I was trying to steady myself and I saw my family come out of their cars and Marcus out of his car and they sprinted to me and my suit has a few rips now from the fight and I never faced anyone like that before and now I have a bit of dirt in my hood and a few pebbles in my boots so I told them to meet me home and I checked to make sure the people I saved were okay and they were climbing down the net I shot and I told my family and Mark to meet me back home so I flew back home and I limped to the stairs outside the door and the deck and I actually hurt my leg when I did that sweep the leg technique I actually hurt my leg because that guy actually has quite a bit hard legs but I managed to knock him down so thank you Master Jay for teaching me that move and my family and Mark came and sprinted to me and I pulled my hood completely off and I actually have a bit of dirt in my hair "Where in Irene's name do all these guys come from?" I asked and I set my hood down and I took my boot off and I held it upside down and I started shaking my boot because I had a few pebbles in my boot and I had a bit of dirt in my mouth and I spat it out because god is dirt disgusting and I really have no idea where all these guys get Elemental Powers like me, Hunter and Alina but I should really find out why.
