Once we get outside, the turn out is just as I expected. The bleachers are packed, the side lines are swarmed with journalists in training and there's cameras flashing everywhere I look.
"Ok, everyone listen. We go out there in three minutes. Are there any last minute surprises or anything I should know about so we don't go out out there looking like fools?" Mr Becker asks.
"Okay, great. Everyone get in line and on my cue head out there!"
Three minutes later, one his cue,the group of us head out there playing the "Marching Song".
Sydney's POV.
"Can't they move any faster!?" complains my best friend Emma.
'I can't believe this is finally happening' I think to myself. I've been working on this all year and I'm so proud of how it turned out!! I just can't believe how inconsiderate Luke was. He knows how long I've been working on this and how much it means to me.
Before I know it, we're pulling out of the makeshift tunnel, and showing the float off to the school.
When I look behind me, I see something that ruins all of my excitement.
{a/n sorry this chapter is wicked short but I'm working on the next one right now. I just needed a better way to transition into what Sydney's about to see}
