The Struggle

Ashton's POV

I can't believe what just went down!

Sydney attacked Sadie.

I just can't get that through my head! Sydney would never attack anyone, she's too sweet. Sadie, I can see her attacking someone but Sydney, the thought never would have crossed my mind and wouldn't believe it if someone told me!

Sydney's POV.

I still can't comprehend what just happened! I caught Luke cheating, I attacked Sadie and broke up with Luke all in a matter of ten minutes!

How am I going to get home? The thought never crossed my mind as I was storming out of the building. All I could think about was the recent events that took place and that's still all I can think about but I'll need to put that aside if I want to get home.

I suppose that I should call my parents to come pick me up but I don't feel like playing twenty questions with them and everyone else that I know is at the dance.

I go back and forth between almost calling home and calling a cab but just as I'm about to call home, I strange blue car pulls up beside me.

Do I know anyone who drives a blue car? I can't tell who's inside the vehicle because it's so dark out. Just when I'm about to start to walk the other way, the stranger rolls down the window and much to my surprise it's Ashton Irwin.

"Ashton?"

"Hi.."

"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be at the dance having fun."

"It isn't fun and I figured you might need a ride home..... Only if you want one of course.." Never in a million years would I have thought that Ashton would be offering to give me a ride home. I mean I know that he's sweet and all but I didn't even know he had a car and I never thought he'd be offering me a ride home from this disastrous night.

"So do you want a ride or no? It's fine if-"

"Yeah." I say while I run my fingers through my hair.

As I'm about to step off the curb to enter the car, a way too familiar car pulls up behind Ashton's.

{sorry this is a really short chapter but I'm working on the next one now. I just wanted a break for suspense I guess and thought that a chapter break would be good! X}
