Mayla woke up, her back sore.
She realised she must have feel asleep on the couch.
And her dad must have put a blanket on her.
She smiled as the smile streamed through her windows.
She sat up, stretching her sore back.
"Ow..." Mayla muttered.
She heard her dad laugh.
She heard to the kitchen door to see it open and her dad, leaning on the doorframe.
"You're up" he said, "You didn't even last the first movie"
Mayla sat up straighter from her awkward position.
"Well, I have had a lot on my mind" Mayla said.
Her dad, concerned, walked over tot her and sat next to her.
"Like?" He asked, rubbing her back.
"Well, like how I can't remember anything from my time 'missing' apart from someone crashing into the window and waking up in the forest nearby" Mayla lied "It's getting my head in"
"Hey, don't worry about that now, you just need to relax, no wonder why you're passing out a lot; you're too stressed about the past" her dad said "We'll worry about it another time, for now, I need to go to work but Aph texted me and said she wanted to do something with you"
Mayla nodded and realised it was Monday.
"Relax and keep calm okay?" He asked and kissed her cheek "I love you and I will see you tonight okay?"
Mayla nodded as her dad got off of the couch.
"Bye" Mayla said as her father walked out the door.

Mayla yawned, standing up and started to walk to the kitchen.
"I'M HOME BITCH!"
Mayla laughed as she turned around to see her best friend in a black, long sleeve, summer dress with combat boots.
"We're going out for breakfast" she said, walking over to Mayla and started to pull her.
"No, 'hey, Mayla, how are you?' Or 'morning best friend'?" Mayla questioned, holding her ground.
"Well, I'm getting you out the house" Aphria stated.
"What if I wanted to sleep?" Mayla asked "Every single time I've gone out of the house I've passed out"
"Don't worry so much and let's go" Aphria exclaimed and finally started to pull Mayla, who was beyond confused and suspicious.
"Hang on, let me get changed first" Mayla said, pulling her arm out of her friend's arms.
Aphria sighed.
"Well hurry up! The bookings at 9 and it's 8:30!" Aphria yelled as Mayla walked up the stairs to her room.
Mayla narrowed her eyes as she walked into her room and closed the door.
Aphria is up to something.
And Mayla wants to find out.

"So...are you feeling better?" Aphria asked after a while of sitting in the small modern cafe called 'Treegove's breakfast cafe'.
Mayla was caught off guard with that question.
"Quiete?" Mayla asked, making Aphria look at her confused "I mean, sorry?"
"I mean, you've been passing out a lot" Aphria asked.
"I'm fine my stop worrying about it" Mayla said, sipping her orange juice.
"Mayla-"
"Here's your orders" the waitress said "French toast?"
"That's me, thank you" Aphria said, taking the plate off of the waitress.
"And the Eggs Benedict with sweet potato rosti?" The waitress asked.
"That's me"  Mayla said "thank you so much"
"Anything else for today or is that all?" The waitress asked.
"That's all thank you" Mayla said, smiling.
The waitress nodded, smiling back and walked off.
"Yum! I'm so hungry!" Mayla exclaimed.
"Mayla please-"
"I haven't had this in ages! Have you had this before?" Mayla asked, taking a bite "Oh my Priaxio, this is amazing!"
"No I haven't, Mayla-"
"Can I eat first please?" Mayla asked, making Aphria go silent "Yours is getting cold"

"Mayla" she said sternly "What about your great grandmother?"
"What about her?" Mayla asked.
"What were you talking about?" Aphria asked.
Mayla narrowed her eyes.
"Alicia set you up for this, didn't she?" Mayla demanded.
"No, It's just you never see your great grandmother a lot and-'
"She did? I knew it" Mayla snapped, dropping her fork "Nothing's a secret about me with you guys isn't it?"
"Mayla-"
"I've had it with all of it, I might as well stay in Reflectron!" Mayla said, standing up.
"Wait, you're going to-"
"Why would I tell you want I do?" Mayla said sourly "I'm leaving, you can eat my food, I'm not hungry anymore "
And Mayla storms out, Aphria's eyes wide open.
She's not shocked about the way Mayla reacted.
It was something else.
Her eyes.
They were blood red.
She had to tell Alicia!
